Rep. Greg Pence, R-Ind. — older brother of the former vice president — gave journalists a rare peek inside the behind-the-scenes drama on Capitol Hill.
The elder Pence stole headlines after accusing Pelosi of essentially being a coward.
Following the Jan. 6 Capitol storming, which temporarily halted the electoral college confirmation, Pence said that Pelosi had no plans of resuming congressional duties following in the aftermath of the riot.
He says she wanted to delay the certification — which was necessary to cement Joe Biden into the White House — for “several days,” according to The Hill reporting.
“Nancy Pelosi said, ‘We can’t come back for two or three days,’” he told reporters.
He also spoke to the media about then-Vice President Pence who he says took an opposite approach.

Pelosi is denying all accusations.
“He completely does not know what he’s talking about,” Pelosi said when asked about Pence’s comments. “I was a force for coming back from the start, and I was glad it was bipartisan that we all agreed to come back.”
“… he knows not of what he speaks, and he can ask his brother if he wants to get any information,” she continued.
Pence’s comments are interesting, though, given that he broke with the Vice President in objecting to the Pennsylvania voting results — whereas the Vice President had been willing to certify the election for Biden.
Most recently, Rep. Greg Pence voted against the independent commission backed by Democrats and moderate Republicans to investigate the Jan. 6 riot.

A statement from Pence read:
Hanging Judge Nancy Pelosi is hellbent on pushing her version of partisan justice complete with a hand-picked jury that will carry out her pre-determined political execution of Donald Trump before law enforcement officials have completed their investigation.
