Democratic Party leader Chuck Schumer was very, very unhappy about President Donald Trump’s address to the United Nations on Monday — and he wants the world to know.
According to Schumer, standing up to a brutal dictator is “too risky” a move for the United States because, during the speech, Trump dubbed North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, “Rocket man”
However, the bold talk had foreign policy experts and conservatives cheering.
It was “the international UN version of ‘draining the swamp.’ He went in there and was extremely blunt,” Florida Rep. Ron DeSantis said. “That was exactly the message that needed to be sent.”
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney said —

to its charter and to confront global challenges.— Mitt Romney (@MittRomney) September 19, 2017
And former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton responded —
.@realDonaldTrump’s #UNGA speech was his best yet as President. He was clear & direct in his criticisms of #NorthKorea & #Iran.

However, Schumer and Democratic leaders weren’t thrilled with the straight talk — and went directly to the mainstream media to complain about Trump’s language.
“If I were giving the president advice, I would have said avoid using ‘Rocket Man,'” Schumer complained to the press. “We know the leader of North Korea is erratic, to put it kindly. That kind of language, I think, is risky.”
The mainstream media had an even worse response, blaming Trump — not former President Barack Obama — for the emerging threat. In fact, ABC News went so far as to claim Trump’s comments were illegal.
“The words ‘totally destroying’ a nation of 25 million people, that borders on the threat of committing a war crime,” ABC News’ Terry Moran told guest George Stephanopoulos.
ABC’s Joy Behar, host of The View, complained that Trump was “too provocative” and his words threatened millions of people.
Of course, North Korea built and tested many of these nuclear weapons while virtually unchecked by Obama — the same nuclear weapons that could wipe out these millions of people.
But the mainstream media was totally silent about the threat Kim Jong Un posed for Obama’s eight years, and now blame Trump for finally confronting the threat?
We knew liberals were spineless… but trying to stop the United States from confronting a ruthless madman hellbent on acquiring nuclear weapons is a new low.
Evangelist Franklin Graham tweeted the perfect response to Democrats that are too afraid to confront evil —
Join me in praying for @POTUS. He reminded the world, “If the righteous many do not confront the wicked few, then evil will triumph.”

You can watch Trump’s comments here, including the 0:15 mark where he dubs dictator Kim Jong Un, “Rocket man.”
