Anthony Scaramucci, former White House communications director under Donald Trump, has made wild claims about former First Lady Melania Trump and the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
In a recent interview with the Meidas Touch podcast, Scaramucci suggested that Melania Trump is rooting for Vice President Kamala Harris to win the presidency.
“Nobody wants Kamala Harris to win more than me — maybe Melania Trump, that could be the only person I can think of,” Scaramucci.
Scaramucci said the former First Lady is opposed to her husband’s potential return to the White House — and went on to claim that Melania “hates” Donald Trump and is “tired of all this nonsense” surrounding the 2024 presidential campaign.
Scaramucci, whose tenure in the Trump administration lasted a mere 11 days in 2017, has become a vocal critic of his former boss and supported President Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign.
In the interview, he claimed to have a “Melania standard” for judging hatred towards Donald Trump, suggesting that he measures others’ dislike for the former president against Melania’s alleged feelings.
The former aide claimed that only one person surpasses Melania in their hatred for Trump: retired General Mark Milley, the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Scaramucci said there was significant tension between Trump and Milley following the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot, when Trump made comments suggesting Milley should face severe punishment for his actions during that time.
The bizarre “hatred” claims come amid reports that Melania Trump has reached a deal with her husband regarding her potential role if he is re-elected. According to an insider quoted by Page Six, Melania does not want a “non-stop schedule of events in the White House” and is concerned about the scrutiny her son Barron may face while attending college if his father becomes president again.
Melania Trump was last seen on the campaign trail with her husband at the Republican National Convention in July.
Neither Melania Trump nor her representatives have commented on these allegations, and there is no direct evidence to support Scaramucci’s assertions about her feelings or preferences in the upcoming election.
The Trump campaign has not yet responded to requests for comment on Scaramucci’s claims.
