California Rep. Maxine Waters has made a name for herself as a key member of the Democrats “resist” movement — and he repeated calls for President Donald Trump’s impeachment has made her a mainstream media darling.
On Friday, however, Waters’ attack on the first family went too far.
Without citing any evidence, Waters implied that the president is a known liar and that even his wife, Melania Trump, should not trust him —
Democrats can't trust Trump, Republicans can't trust Trump, and Melania can't trust Trump

“Waters did not elaborate on her attack of the First Lady but could have been alluding to a Vanity Fair piece that tried to paint Melania as someone who is unhappy with the increased amount of scrutiny her marriage is getting now that Trump is president,” Breitbart reported. “Other media outlets have been quick to judge that Melania’s non-verbal body language towards her husband is a sign that she does not trust him, without any basis in fact.”
Allegations regarding the trustworthiness of a politician is especially rich coming from Waters.
Waters has been named the “Most Corrupt Member of Congress” five times throughout her 13-terms as California representative, by the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, a liberal group.
Waters won the ignoble title of “Most Corrupt” politician in 2005, 2006, 2009, 2011, and 2017.
Additionally, she was charged with three counts of ethics violations in 2010 in connection to the alleged misuse of former President Barack Obama’s 2008 bailout.
At the time, Waters was suspected of misusing approximately $12 million in taxpayer bailout cash; Waters allegedly directed the money to OneUnited bank where her husband was heavily invested.
Under the Obama administration, she received zero punishment.
Many Trump voters hope that might change soon.
