Marvel star Jonathan Majors just sentenced, narrowly avoiding jail

In a shocking turn of events, rising star Jonathan Majors, known for his roles in “Creed III” and Marvel’s upcoming projects, has been sentenced to a yearlong counseling program after being convicted of misdemeanor assault against his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. The high-profile case has sent shockwaves through Hollywood, leaving fans and industry insiders alike wondering about the future of the once-promising actor.

Majors, 34, narrowly avoided jail time during his sentencing on Monday, with Judge Michael Gaffey ordering the actor to complete a 52-week batterer’s intervention program in Los Angeles and continue with his ongoing mental health therapy. The judge also issued a no-contact order with Jabbari, warning Majors that any violation of these terms could result in a year behind bars.

The courtroom was filled with tension as Jabbari, fighting back tears, addressed the court, claiming that Majors refuses to accept responsibility for his actions and remains a danger to those around him. “He’s not sorry,” she said. “He will do this again and he will hurt other women. He believes he is above the law.”

Jabbari painted a picture of a relationship that started as loving but quickly turned toxic, with Majors isolating her from family and friends and leaving her emotionally dependent on him. “I became a different person around him — small, scared, and vulnerable,” she revealed.

Despite Majors’ lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, arguing that the actor has lost his entire career and has been through the most challenging year of his life, the fallout from the conviction has been swift and severe. Marvel Studios dropped Majors from his role as Kang the Conqueror, a character that was set to become the main villain in the entertainment empire’s future movies and television shows.

As Majors faces an uncertain future, with a civil suit filed by Jabbari still looming, the question remains: will he be able to redeem himself and make a comeback, or will this conviction mark the end of his once-promising career? Only time will tell in this gripping tale of a fallen star.
