Liberals are in a panic over claims that President Donald Trump allegedly revealed “classified information” to Russian diplomats during their May 10th meeting.
But Trump and his administration are arguing he did absolutely nothing wrong.
The Washington Post dropped the bombshell Monday when they reported that unnamed sources informed them of the supposed Trump slip-up.

The only source willing to put their name on the line to support their statement was National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster, who strongly denied the accusations from the anonymous sources.
“The president and the foreign minister reviewed a range of common threats to our two countries including threats to civil aviation. At no time, at no time were intelligence sources or methods discussed and the president did not disclose any military operations that were not already publicly known.”
He continued with a firm refutation of the Post’s claim, saying, “I was in the room, it didn’t happen.”

Trump on Tuesday defended his right to share “facts pertaining to terrorism” and airline safety with Russia in order to successfully defeat ISIS.
As President I wanted to share with Russia (at an openly scheduled W.H. meeting) which I have the absolute right to do, facts pertaining….

Russia’s foreign ministry spokesman denied the report. Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for the Russian foreign ministry, on Facebook on Tuesday described the reports as “yet another fake.”

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson also disputed the report. He said Trump discussed a range of subjects with the Russians, including “common efforts and threats regarding counter-terrorism.” The nature of specific threats was discussed, he said, but not sources, methods or military operations.
Fox News’ Laura Ingraham came to the president’s defense, tweeting about how they ignored statements from Trump White House officials who actually attended the meeting:
WH source with direct knowledge just told me @washingtonpost didn't talk to ANY U.S. official at mtg w/ Lavrov. "It's Fake News"

Conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer harshly criticized the Democratic National Committee for their hypocritical response to the report, calling it “pure opportunism.”

“Particularly since their candidate for the presidency had been spilling classified information, some of the highest level, for a year and a half and the Democrats pretended that either it wasn’t their problem or that it should be ignored. It’s rather unseemly,” he said in reference to failed Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s email scandal.
But now that the shoe is on the other foot and Trump is the one facing accusations, liberals area all on board.
