“On the Holmes Front,” with Frank Holmes
The American Left used to be a political position. Now it’s a hate cult, and it has a brand new leader: radical Islamic terrorist Osama bin Laden.
This week saw something that would have been unthinkable not long ago: Thousands of American liberals posting videos online praising the mastermind who plotted the worst act of terrorism ever inflicted on American soil, and encouraging others to agree with his anti-American manifesto.
It all started with a TikTok influencer named Lynette Adkins, who posts pro-Palestinian videos on the site owned by ByteDance, a Chinese conglomerate.
She read Osama bin Laden’s post-9/11 “Letter to the American People” and realized Osama saw America the same way she did.
“I need everyone to stop what they’re doing right now and go read it. It’s literally two pages,” she told her 175,000 followers.
Soon, thousands of videos flooded TikTok, singing the praises of an Islamic terrorist who murdered thousands of American civilians.
“Reading this letter, it becomes apparent to me that the actions of 9/11 and those acts committed against the USA and its people were all just the build up of our government failing other nations!” said a multi-pierced woman in a TikTok video.
“They have brainwashed us to feel we was the best country on the planet when, in reality, we’re the worst f**king country on the planet!” said a man in another.
“This letter is so well-written and so reasonably structured,” said another female TikTok commentator. “Like, everything he said was valid!”
How hateful is the American Left that the only person they can find who hates America as much as they do is Osama bin Laden?
Not everyone who piled onto the bin Laden bandwagon was a faceless nobody. Novelist Gretchen Felker-Martin posted, “Blowing up the World Trade Center was probably the most principled and defensible thing he [the terrorist] ever did.” (She later deleted the post.)
Over the past 24 hours, thousands of TikToks (at least) have been posted where people share how they just read Bin Laden’s infamous "Letter to America," in which he explained why he attacked the United States.

What are Osama’s deep thoughts? It’s easy to see what appeals to liberals: Osama hates America.
“You are the worst civilization witnessed by the history of mankind,” Osama wrote. “You have destroyed nature with your industrial waste and gases.”
In a part definitely outdated, he claimed, “You steal our wealth and oil at paltry prices.”
“Your law is the law of the rich and wealthy people,” Osama said. “The freedom and democracy that you call to is for yourselves and for white race only.”
So far, it sounds like the Nashville shooter’s manifesto.
Osama went on to explain what he really wants: union of mosque and state.
He demands all U.S. citizens give “complete submission” to his version of Islam. Then they should “reject the immoral acts of fornication, homosexuality, intoxicants, gambling’s, and trading with interest.”
And Osama explained what he would be willing to do to make sure Americans agree: kill civilians.
“The American army is part of the American people. It is this very same people who are shamelessly helping the Jews fight against us,” he wrote.
“Whoever has killed our civilians, then we have the right to kill theirs.”
But wealthy, “educated” liberals posted their hot take that the founder of al-Qaeda was alright.
“The latest viral trend on the platform that makes it seemingly apparent that a psyop, for lack of a better word, is underway to promote pro-terrorist and anti-Israel, anti-America views to millions of Americans,” said Spencer Brown at Townhall.com. “The narrative is the same used by Hamas terrorists and their sympathizers in the media and higher education who blame Israel for the Hamas terrorist massacre that killed more than 1,200 innocent people and saw barbarians rape women until their pelvises broke.”
So many videos streamed out of TikTok praising the dead terrorist that eventually The Guardian — the left-wing paper that posted the dead terrorist’s writing — deleted the letter from its website.
A few conservatives fought back. Former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker tweeted a picture of the victims of 9/11 with the message, “Here are 2,977 reasons why Osama bin Laden was wrong.”

“These people are, of course, massive idiots,” said Rep. Mike Gallagher, R-Wisc. “For someone on TikTok to somehow suggest this is America’s fault or that bin Laden, who killed thousands of innocent Americans, was right is absolutely disgusting and further evidence that we need to ban TikTok or force a sale before a Chinese-controlled app.”
Evidently, the Chinese Communist Party got a scare—since it claimed it was “proactively and aggressively removing” pro-bin Laden videos.
“Content promoting this letter clearly violates our rules on supporting any form of terrorism,” TikTok, somewhat confusingly, posted on X. “We are proactively and aggressively removing this content and investigating how it got onto our platform.”
Then TikTok tried to deny the problem and cast the blame on other, non-Communist-owned social media platforms. “The number of videos on TikTok is small and reports of it trending on our platform are inaccurate,” the group claimed. “This is not unique to TikTok and has appeared across multiple platforms and the media.”
Sure, Xi Jinping. Sure.

The new liberal love for Osama bin Laden may hurt Joe Biden’s chances to win re-election in 2024, since the incumbent has claimed credit for killing the al-Qaeda founder for more than a decade.
“Osama bin Laden is dead, and General Motors is alive!” Biden regularly shouted, including at the 2012 Democratic National Convention.
TODAY IN HISTORY
2011 — Osama bin Laden is killed by U.S. special forces.
Joe Biden said it best in 2012. Democrats can deliver on foreign policy & the economy at the same time.

Osama bin Laden didn’t think much of Joe Biden, either.
Osama told his followers to focus on killing then-President Obama, because after he got assassinated, Joe Biden would become president.
“Biden is totally incapable of assuming this office, and his assumption of power will push America into a deep crisis,” he wrote.
OK, so maybe Osama was right about one thing…
The much funnier Osama Bin Laden letter is the one where he says they should kill Obama, but not Biden, because "Biden is totally incapable of assuming this office, and his assumption of power will push America into a deep crisis." [2010] https://t.co/qvHAVRkRaH pic.twitter.com/VFFXXFrkXH

That doesn’t make a man who murdered thousands of Americans, and left thousands more widowed or orphaned, a hero, in the right, or justified in his actions.
It makes American “progressives” exactly what they were in the Cold War: useful idiots who hate their own country more than they love their fellow Americans.
The American people must demand the traitors who suddenly support the worst anti-American terrorist in history be given at least the same treatment as the people who posted in support of January 6th.
