Liberals just put the fork in Obama amid latest incident

Former President Barack Obama was once the poster child for liberal politics across the U.S.

But just a handful of years later, with President Joe Biden in office, things have changed an awful lot for Obama.

He’s no longer “woke” enough for liberals.

Evidence of this came from a small town in Illinois that was deciding on what to rename their Thomas Jefferson Middle School and Daniel Webster Middle School. Both had been planned to be renamed for their respective involvement in American slavery.

Students and faculty had reportedly been struggling to find a replacement name for the two schools.

But community activists sure know who they don’t want representing the school:

Barack Obama.

Eight years ago, the choice would’ve been roundly celebrated and applauded, but it seems as though time has taken its toll on the former president.

Activist Julie Contreras slammed Obama for failing to deliver on promises he made along his rise to president.

“From the time Barack Obama became President until 2017 when he left, he today is still the highest ranking president with deportations in our nation,” she said. “We feel that Barack Obama did disservice to us. He denied us, and he didn’t stop the deportations, the way he promised.”

“If you’re removing the name of Thomas Jefferson – one oppressor – the name of Obama is another oppressor and our families do not want to see that name,” she added.

School board member Edgar Castellanos also took a firm stance against the ex-president for his administration’s handling of the U.S.-Mexico border policies.

“I will not be part of renaming a school after someone who did not and does not represent the undocumented community.”
