It’s no secret that the Trump family can be divisive, especially amongst Democrats and other liberals.
But President-elect Donald Trump’s son, Barron, has quietly risen to a level of universal likeability, including amongst Trump family political rivals.
Check out what’s been happening with Barron while he’s been off at college.
According to a story published by People Magazine, Barron Trump has been “popular with the ladies” since starting classes at New York University’s Stern School of Business in September.
“He’s at Stern so he’s studying business in some way,” a source told People. “He’s a ladies man for sure. He’s really popular with the ladies.”
It’s not just conservative women. Barron also appears to be popular with those on the other side of the political aisle.
“He’s tall and handsome. A lot of people seem to think he’s pretty attractive — yes, even liberal people like him,” said the report.
Barron’s college life has a hot topic throughout the year. In August, his father teased to the New York Post in August that his youngest son had decided to attend a “good” school in New York.
In September, Donald Trump confirmed Barron’s college choice to Daily Mail and said his youngest son was “accepted to a lot of colleges.”
Melania, 54, told Fox News that same month about her only child going to college that she didn’t feel alone.
“I could not say I’m an empty nester. I don’t feel that way,” the former first lady told reporter Ainsley Earhardt.
She said she raised Barron as his “own person” and “gave him his own yes and no’s” growing up.
“It was his decision to come here that he wants to be in New York and study in New York and live in his home, and I respect that,” Melania continued.
Barron Trump has largely stayed out of the physical spotlight, even while helping his father’s presidential campaign win over voters through social media.
During the 2024 presidential election, Barron declined an opportunity to serve as an at-large delegate for Florida during the Republican National Convention, citing “prior commitments” in a statement made by his mother.
“While Barron is honored to have been chosen as a delegate by the Florida Republican Party, he regretfully declines to participate due to prior commitments,” Melania wrote in the statement.
The convention occurred in July in Milwaukee, and Barron’s absence made him the only of Trump’s five children not in attendance at the event.
However, shortly before the RNC, Barron made his first appearance at a campaign rally to support his father.
Last week, Melania told Fox & Friends that her son was crucial in securing Donald’s presidential election victory.
During the interview, she said “he was very vocal” behind the scenes of the campaign and “knew exactly who his father needs to contact and to talk to.”
