Late-night hosts seem to think that bashing President Trump is the key to high ratings – but it just got one comedian booed off the stage.
Donors were outraged after George Lopez scorched The Donald and reportedly dropped the f-bomb….during a fundraiser for childhood diabetes.
Lopez’s foul-mouthed tirade came while he was supposed to be the emcee at a benefit for the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes. Donors paid anywhere from $5,000 to $100,000 to attend the event on October 7.
But after Lopez turned political, the audience turned on him.
David Maffei, the CEO of Liberty Media, told Lopez he donated $250,000 – and he was sick of Trump-bashing on stage.
Instead of cleaning up his act, Lopez insulted Maffei, too.
“Thank you for changing my opinion on old white men,” Lopez said. “But it doesn’t change the way I feel about orange men.”
Attendees said the audience showered boos on the Trump-hating, open borders “funny” man.
Lopez then told the audience, “I apologize to your white privilege.”
After fumbling around, Lopez introduced a video and scooted off stage. He never returned to the Carousel Ball.
His whole act lasted four minutes. Up-and-coming comics go longer than that at open mic night.
An audience member got a video of the last few minutes of Lopez’s “comedy” act.

Lopez has a history of screaming obscenities at Americans who oppose illegal immigration. Earlier this year, he screamed the f-word at Trump – and the 63 million Americans who voted for him – in front of an audience: “F—k him today, f—k him tomorrow, f—k him three-and-a-half years from now. And if you voted for him, f—k you today, f—k you tomorrow, f—k you three years from now.”
In 2012, he called Sheriff Joe Arpaio a “f–king puto” (Spanish for a male prostitute) and a “fat mother f–ker.”
That audience ate it up. The audience in Denver chewed him up – and spit him out.
But the night wasn’t a total waste – even if Lopez’s act was. It raised $1.65 million for the kids.
An estimated 1.25 million Americans suffer from Type-1 diabetes, including 200,000 children and teens.
