Ex-Department of Homeland Security chief Kristi Noem is “devastated” by shocking allegations her husband Bryon, lives a double life where he cross-dresses and chats online with fetish models.
“Ms. Noem is devastated. The family was blindsided by this, and they ask for privacy and prayers at the time,” Noem’s representatives told The New York Post.
According to The Daily Mail, Bryon Noem allegedly engaged in explicit conversations with women from a niche fetish scene known as “bimbofication,” in which adherents pump up their breasts to extreme proportions in pursuit of a “Barbie doll”-like appearance.
Mr. Noem, who made his fortune in the insurance industry, allegedly sent tens of thousands of dollars to various women he chatted with, and even sent selfies wearing pink hotpants and flesh-toned crop-tops stuffed with balloons inflated to resemble cartoonish-sized breasts, even featuring the outlines of protruding nipples.
His face was clearly visible in several of the disturbing images.

President Trump weighed in on the report yesterday, saying he was surprised hearing about Kristi Noem’s husband’s double-life as a cross-dresser and fetish, adding that he felt remorse for the upheaval the revelation has caused the family.
“They confirmed it? Wow, well, I feel badly for the family if that’s the case, that’s too bad,” Trump told the Daily Mail Tuesday afternoon when asked about the report.
“I haven’t seen anything. I don’t know anything about it. That’s too bad, but I just know nothing about it,” he added.
In a 2022 interview with Elysian, Kristi Noem said, “We are such a transparent family” over their willingness to put their family life out there, adding that they’re “an open book.”
Now national security experts are raising alarms that the photos aren’t just embarrassing — they could have made his wife subject to potential blackmail threats.
“Damaging information like this can be a tantalizing lead for a hostile intelligence service,” former CIA officer Marc Polymeropoulos told The Daily Mail.
“They approach the person and say, if you work with us we won’t expose this, and if you don’t, we will. That’s espionage 101.”
Kristi Noem was ousted from her role at DHS on March 5 after a pair of disastrous congressional hearings, including bumbling over a question about whether she was having an affair with married top aide Corey Lewandowski.
Questions surrounding the Noems’ marriage have increasingly come to light as the former South Dakota governor has made numerous high-profile appearances with Lewandowski, sparking the rumors of an affair with the aide, who is also married.
Shortly after being removed from her role as DHS boss, President Trump appointed Noem special envoy for Shield of the Americas — a program meant to fight drug trafficking, organized crime and illegal immigration in the Western Hemisphere.
The Noems have three children, daughters Kassidy, 31, and Kennedy, 29 and a son, Booker, 23. Kassidy and Kennedy both have children of their own.
