It seems like everything Vice President Kamala Harris touches turns to dust—and White House insiders are more and more willing to tell the media that her relationship with President Joe Biden is no exception. Some media outlets say he’s getting ready to dump her with a new, unique excuse to get her out of the White House.
The White House has melted down into two warring factions blaming each other for the shambles that is known as the Biden-Harris administration.

Aides and advisers have been whispering stories and floating rumors that blame the other side to news outlets read by both parties.
Harris’ people believe she should be promoted, praised, and publicized by the administration, because—everybody knows—Joe Biden isn’t going to run for reelection in 2024.
But Biden’s people say that they put Harris in the best possible position—and she blew it. Her approval rating is lower than his; she attacked Biden’s record on racial issues during the primaries but then dropped out while he won; and she’s driving people away constantly.
And Joe Biden has already said he plans to run for a second term in 2024, and he’s not leaving office until he’s 86 years old.
The bitterness has gone public, because Biden is freezing his toxic vice president out of his administration.
“Several people familiar with the operations of the vice president’s office say that after a spike in involvement” with the Biden administration’s actual workings “earlier in the year, the family has been pushed further out again recently,” reported CNN.
When Biden was whipping votes for his infrastructure package — which was passed by Congress and ultimately signed into law by Biden on Monday — Kamala Harris was in Maryland walking through a NASA space center.

In any event, she’ll introduce Biden, then step off to the side while he talks.
Jimmy Kimmel writes it off as “sexism and racism” that the American people haven’t supported and loved Harris.
Other Harris backers have tried to be more subtle with their appeals to race prejudice. One common argument is that the fact that people look at the first Black, female vice president in a different way is “subliminal, but it’s real.” People look at her and ask, “What is her playbook in history?” said Democratic strategist named Minyon Moore.
Harris’ people complain that she’s the future of the party and should be the featured speaker a lot more often.
“It is natural that those of us who know her know how much more helpful she can be than she is currently being asked to be,” said a longtime Kamala friend, Eleni Kounalakis, who is currently the lieutenant governor of California. “That’s where the frustration is coming from.”
But some people think Kamala Harris has been “helpful” enough.
By all accounts, Harris’ office borders on a hostile work environment. In July, Politico interviewed 22 sources inside her office, who said she’s a terrible boss. “It’s not a healthy environment and people often feel mistreated,” one source said. “It’s not a place where people feel supported but a place where people feel treated like s—,” said one employee.

She was put in charge of the border—then gave a bizarre answer to NBC’s Lester Holt, claiming “we have been to the border.” When Holt called her on her lie, she said, “I haven’t been to Europe, either.” Eventually, her office rushed her out to (near) the southern border.
When she had a public conversation with someone who accused Israel of committing “ethnic genocide,” the vice president didn’t say a word.
She employed a group of child actors to talk about her role in the NASA Space Force—and she could have used some acting lessons herself, considering her phony, giggly performance.
She faked a French accent while on a diplomatic trip, telling a French crowd that the Biden-Harris administration is always expected to have “ze plan” to fix everything.
Whenever she’s asked anything uncomfortable, she cackles in a way that seems totally artificial.
And her approval ratings is 28%.
One source told CNN the president plans to dump Harris from the ticket completely—by nominating her for the Supreme Court.

With a 28% approval rating, there’s no way she’ll be confirmed. And then, maybe, she’ll be out of politics permanently.
We can hope.
