Did you listen to your favorite conservative talk show hosts today?
You’d better tune in while you can. Soon, they may be replaced by Rachel Maddow, Amy Goodman, and other anonymous liberal talkers — since a Democratic megadonor is about to control a huge chunk of the U.S. radio market, just before the presidential election.
Ordinarily, the move would be illegal…but the Biden-Harris administration is throwing the process into overdrive for its benefactor.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is fast-tracking the application of George Soros to buy a major interest in a chain of 220 radio stations in 40 cities nationwide.
The 93-year-old Hungarian-born billionaire plunked down $400 million to buy a 40 percent interest in Audacy, Inc., when the radio and podcasting network filed Chapter 11.
Audacy has the second-largest radio network in the United States, after iHeart Radio…and that means the Soros Fund Management Company will have the second-largest impact on America’s political airwaves, thanks to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
American regulations state that a foreign company cannot own more than 25 percent of any U.S. media outlet…and the usual FCC approval process would have slowed Soros’ ownership of the stations for a year.
But the Biden-Harris administration couldn’t have one of its top donors unable to control the media during an election year, so the FCC gave Soros a waiver to let him control the stations even sooner.
“The FCC is poised to create for the first time, an entirely new shortcut,” FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr testified before the House Oversight and Accountability Committee this week.
Carr, the commission’s rare Republican commissioner, isn’t just talking to the Beltway; he’s going on the airwaves while he still can.
“We have a very clear process … to review the foreign ownership at issue here,” Carr told conservative talk show host Glenn Beck. “The FCC Commission, for the very first time ever, has skipped that process for the benefit of this Soros-backed group.”
Beck’s radio show airs on stations owned by…the Audacy network. So does Sean Hannity, Dana Loesch, Mark Levin, and Erick Erickson.

“The idea that George Soros is buying hundreds of local radio stations right before a national election and will keep broadcasting Sean Hannity and other conservative talk radio hosts on Audacy is not credible,” said a source who knows about the Soros deal in an interview with the New York Post.
If you’re just hearing about George Soros’ great radio takeover, you should be reading The Horn. We told you about Soros’ big $400 million radio buy out in February.
We told you at the time that Soros had been pushing for years to dominate radio communications.
He bought up 20 Spanish-language radio stations in 2022.
He “donated” another $1.8 million to National Public Radio two decades ago.
All told, “Soros has ties to more than 30 mainstream news outlets,” according to the Media Research Center.
With that much media clout, shouldn’t the FCC let somebody else—maybe even an American—get a chance to own American media?
Shouldn’t the FCC at least go over this with a fine-toothed comb?
Republicans think so. In April, conservative Congressman Chip Roy, R-Texas, said the sale “should — at minimum — be subject to rigorous FCC oversight to ensure U.S. radio stations are not subject to undue influence.”
Instead, the FCC is speeding up the process. Why is that?
Could it have anything to do with the fact that Democratic vice presidential candidate and Minnesota Tim Walz met with George Soros’ son and heir, Alex Soros, for a fundraiser?
Walz pressed the flesh and took money hand-over-fist from the younger Soros, who has taken the helm at Soros’ politically focused “charities,” as well as Alex Soros’ wife, Huma Abedin, at Soros’ luxurious Manhattan home.
If that name sounds familiar, it should: She was a longtime aide and intimate contact of Hillary Clinton’s. Her ex-husband, ex-Congressman Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y., was busted for sexting with underage girls.
Pictures show Walz all-but bowing and scraping before his donors.

The money came in as Harris is starting to sink in the polls and needs to flood the zone with positive media coverage—and to get rid of the one remaining media source that criticizes her: talk radio.
Soros funded Harris, and Harris’ administration is speeding up a business deal for Soros.
Remember when Congress impeached Donald Trump for allegedly demanding Ukraine give him a quid pro quo? Here’s the real foreign election interference…and it’s only going to get worse.
“The Soros influence will only increase further in a Harris-Walz presidency,” reported the New York Post.
But will your influence increase under a Harris-Walz presidency?
