“On the Holmes Front” with Frank Holmes
Of all the crimes committed by nefarious crooks and evil men, the worst is child pornography.
Even to be associated with the criminal exploitation of children puts the darkest shadow over a politician.
One of the politicians associated with people who tried to water down the penalties for kiddie porn is none other than Democratic presidential hopeful Kamala Harris, according to a new muckraking report.
The ties goes all the way back to the beginning of Kamala Harris’ political career, reports The Daily Caller, the website co-founded by Tucker Carlson.
Harris has a long-standing, glowing, close relationship with a former California legislator named Mark Leno—very close. The two came through the ranks of California politics together.
When Leno made it to the California State Senate, he introduced a bill that would have let perverts who hoard child porn off the hook.
As it happens, the Republican opposition leader at the time was Kevin McCarthy, who would go on to be the Speaker of the House.
“As originally written, McCarthy said, the bill would have allowed the possession of up to 99 ‘items’ of child pornography before the crime could be prosecuted as a felony,” reported The Sentinel, a newspaper based in Hanford, California. “A compact disc containing 1,000 images would have counted as one item, McCarthy said.”
You might be tempted to write off that classification of the bill as a Republican attack—but people on both sides of the aisle came to the same conclusion about Leno’s bill.
Former Jimmy Carter aide Pat Caddell, a longtime Democratic consultant, said, “What the Democrats did on AB 50 was insane, insane – 100 exemptions for child porn? They had to figure out this was not good?”
Eventually, even California Democrats yielded to Republican pressure and changed the legislation to make even one image a felony…no thanks to Leno.
The Trump campaign immediately highlighted the connection.
“Here’s Kamala praising her ‘dear friend’ Mark Leno — a former California state senator who tried to change the law to allow possession of 99 ‘items’ of CHILD PORNOGRAPHY before being charged with a felony,” the campaign said. “SICK AND TWISTED!”

“Mark Leno was a huge pusher of AB 50 which provided an ‘exemption’ from felony charges if a suspect was caught with less than 100 pieces of child pornography,” pointed out a user of the social media platform X who goes by the handle Insurrection Barbie.
Intrepid anti-leftist reporter Andy Ngo highlighted Leno’s support of the same legislation.
Why does the left always associate with p*dophiles? According to an ad in the LA Times, Mark Leno was a huge pusher of AB 50 which “provided an ‘exemption’ from felony charges if a suspect was caught with less than 100 pieces of child pornography.

Leno wanted to make the law easier for child exploiters…and Leno had a defining role in her very first campaign for elected office, the 2003 race for San Francisco district attorney.
A 2019 Politico report described Mark Leno as “a friend of Harris who was then a state assemblyman organizing her campaign.”
The same profile described Kamala Harris as “ruthless.”
That race opened the door for Kamala to move up the ladder, from statewide attention as attorney general to the U.S. Senate. Her status as one of the only black female elected officials at a national level bought her a DEI position on Joe Biden’s ticket as his running mate, which she’s on the verge of parlaying into a viable race for the highest elected office in the land.
The two celebrated the night she won, too. Leno was one of just a handful of people who had a celebration dinner with the future veep on election night. “On election night…Kamala and I believe Mark Leno and a couple of other people went to dinner,” a witness told KQED.
For his support, Kamala Harris didn’t take a backwards step from Leno, even after his pro-porno legislation.
Kamala Harris said she was “proud” to stand with Leno in 2016.

Two years later, Leno posted a selfie of himself and Kamala Harris, calling her his “dear friend of two decades.”

Naturally, a little over two years after that, Leno expressed over-the-moon enthusiasm when Harris became vice president.
“Kamala has great intellect, a great heart, and a great, personal life experience that will serve the moment extraordinarily well,” Leno told a local San Francisco media outlet. “Certainly, coming off of what we’ve had to endure the past four years, it’s going to be a breath of fresh air.”
Leno has never apologized for trying to make things easy on child pornographers—and Kamala has never distanced herself from her “dear friend.”
“If this seeps into voters’ minds, my God,’” he told the Los Angeles Daily News.
Let Kamala’s connection to Mark Leno seep in good and deep.
