Former Secretary of State John Kerry must have forgotten he threw away all his Vietnam War medals.
A viral photo of Kerry at the United Kingdom’s coronation of King Charles III shows the Democratic leader wearing all his medals from his time in the United States Army.

But there’s one problem: Kerry told everyone he returned his medals in protest against the Vietnam War he’d fought in.
In 1971, Kerry told a local station that he “gave back … I can’t remember, six, seven, eight, nine medals.”
According to reports that the time, “many veterans were seen throwing their medals and ribbons over the fence in front of the U.S. Capitol” and it was “reported that Kerry was among these veterans.”
President Richard Nixon “forced us to return our medals because beyond the perversion of the war, these leaders themselves denied us the integrity those symbols supposedly gave our lives,” Kerry claimed at the time.
52 years later, it looks likes he found them
