A spokesperson for former President Joe Biden announced that he will be receiving radiation treatment for about five weeks for his advanced prostate cancer.
“As part of a treatment plan for prostate cancer, President Biden is currently undergoing radiation therapy and hormone treatment,” the spokesperson said.
According to multiple reports, Biden has been taking a pill form of hormone medication for weeks as part of his cancer treatment.
Despite the news of radiation treatment, reps from Biden’s team say the former president is “doing well.”
However, one of Biden’s closest political allies — former VP Kamala Harris — has indicated that she has not hear from her former boss since the news of radiation surfaced.
In fact, Harris has indicated that Biden has ignored her.
Harris revealed during a weekend interview with MSNBC that Biden allegedly sent her call to voicemail after she reached out when news broke that he was undergoing radiation.
“I called him earlier,” Harris told MSNBC’s “The Weekend” in an interview that aired yesterday.
“I have not talked to him. I just left him a message after I heard the news.”
Harris added: “I think Joe Biden is a fighter, and that is what I told him.
“He’s going to fight this, and we’re going to hold him up and pray for his recovery and for his strength and for his family.”
The news of Biden allegedly ignoring Harris’ well-wishes comes after Harris’ memoir “107 Days”, which hit bookshelves last month, detailed her historically short 2024 campaign for the presidency and feelings about Biden.
At one point in the book, she ripped his decision to run for reelection as “recklessness.”
She also recounted how he badgered her shortly before her debate against President Trump, accusing her of badmouthing him to donors.
Harris revealed to MSNBC that she has spoken to Biden about her memoir, but didn’t disclose the nature of their conversation.
“I’m not going to tell you,” she said.
Harris gave no hints about the state of her relationship with Biden in the wake of her book.
Biden first disclosed his aggressive cancer diagnosis back in May, a few months after he left office.
At the time, it was reported that Biden had metastatic prostate cancer that had moved from the prostate all the way to his bones.

In August, he had skin cancer removed from his forehead and was seen publicly with a large bandage.
