“On the Holmes Front,” with Frank Holmes
President Joe Biden isn’t competent to be president and isn’t really running things in his own administration.
That’s not my opinion: That’s the view of the majority of Americans—not that you’d ever know that by watching the left-wing media.
A poll released on Wednesday showed that 58 percent of Americans — nearly 6 out of 10 — do not believe that “Biden is physically and mentally up to the job of being President of the United States.” That’s an increase of almost 10 points in two months. In August, about half of Americans had their doubts about Joe Biden’s abilities to handle the grave responsibilities of the office of the presidency.
“Voters increasingly doubt that President Joe Biden is capable of performing the duties of his office, and a majority of voters believe others are running the show behind the scenes,” said Rasmussen Reports, which conducted the poll.
In fact, only 27 percent of Americans told pollsters they are “very confident” that Joe Biden is competent to do his job, which just happens to be the most important job in the free world.
27 percent—that’s about one out of every four Americans…which means way more than just conservatives, Republicans, or anti-Biden voters think there’s a big problem with the president.
It’s true that 83 percent of Republicans think Joe Biden has checked out, but 28 percent of registered Democrats think their own party’s leader is out to lunch, checked out, light’s-on-but-nobody’s-home.
Even Democrats have concerns about the Head Honcho’s head.
If they had worries about Biden’s foggy mental state, his Thursday night town hall event on CNN could not have cleared them up.
At one point, the host had to help him finish an answer after he got so confused, he said, “What am I doing here?”
To make sure people don’t accuse me of taking Biden out of context, his exact words were: “40 percent of all products coming into the US on the west coast go through Los Angeles and…um, um, what am I doing here?”
“Long Beach?” said Anderson Cooper.

Former Rep. Mark Meadows—who served as President Donald Trump’s chief of staff at the end of his administration—said, “Anderson Cooper was a lifeguard trying to save Biden.”
“Don’t blame me if I don’t have confidence in his supply chain/inflation agenda,” said one Twitter user—who was speaking for a lot of other Twitter users, and non-users.
That would have been bad enough, but Biden mixed up people he saw in the audience. He said he thought he saw Balitmore Mayor Brandon Scott… but it was actually Rep. Kweisi Mfume, D-Md.
Imagine if a Republican like President Trump mixed up the identities of two Black guys; the media would never let us hear the end of it.

When they asked him about the big issues, like how to bring down gas prices that are consistently above $3 a gallon (and $7.59 in one California town), Biden answered that he had no answer.
“I don’t have a near term answer,” he said.
Then he took a shot at people who have decided that receiving the COVID-19 vaccination isn’t for them: To Biden, those unwashed losers “just try to make this a political issue — ‘Freedom, I have the freedom to kill you with my COVID.’ No! I mean come on. ‘Freedom?’”
That answer drove Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., up a wall. “These mandates are unconstitutional and it’s an attack on our very freedoms in this country,” she said, “To have the president of the United States mock freedom, frankly, that’s un-American.”
Un-American, out of touch, and maybe just condescending enough that he sounds like maybe he’s not up to the job. Unfortunately for Biden, this isn’t the first time he’s come across that way…not by a long shot.
“I commuted (on Amtrak) every single day for 36 years as vice president of the United States after my wife and daughter were killed. I went home to see my family, never stopped,” said Biden earlier this week.

He was vice president for eight years.
Earlier this month, Biden stumped for his plan in Michigan and introduced the governor, Democrat Gretchen Whitmer, as well as her lieutenant governor, whom he said “covers her in every way, both in terms of physically, and mentally, and every other way.”
Really, Joe? Does Mr. Whitmer know?

You can’t blame Joe. He forgot what he said the minute he said it, if he even understood it then.
But the American people aren’t forgetting that the Democratic Party hid its presidential candidate in a basement for a year, had him read off a script, probably doped him up for his public appearances, and called a lid on his week early mornings in the middle of the week.
He’s incompetent, and we’re all paying the price.
