Joe Biden has been trying to comment on his legacy, imagining that he “left the country in better shape than we found it,” but that mirage disappears when you speak just two words: the border.
Everyone knows that the Biden and Harris administration imported more illegal aliens than any other in history, but there’s another immigration crisis that almost nobody has reported.
While even the legacy media eventually started covering illegal immigration as a serious campaign issue late in 2024, no one has reported the way Biden has presided over a crisis of legal immigration—actually, three.
First, Joe Biden has radically transformed the face of America by changing the number of people who became legal U.S. citizens.
The Biden-Harris administration administered the oath of naturalization to 3.5 million immigrants, making them U.S. citizens. That’s more than any other administration in American history—a lot more.
For comparison, according to figures provided by the pro-open borders Migration Policy Institute, liberal Democrat Jimmy Carter only naturalized 652,000 immigrants during his first term.
President Ronald Reagan—an immigration enthusiast who hoped people would move from the Iron Curtain to the “Shining City on a Hill”—turned 1.666 million immigrants into U.S. citizens during his entire eight years in office.
But as the years went on, the numbers of naturalized immigrants exploded, possibly as national standards (like speaking English and supporting yourself) fell.
Bill Clinton naturalized 5 million immigrants during his time in office, 5.1 million under George W. Bush, and 5.7 million under Barack Obama.
Biden’s 3.5 million eclipses them all.
Looking at these facts, talk show host Mark Levin called President Biden “the greatest law-breaker in American history.”

The percentage of American residents who were born in another country hit its highest rate in U.S. history at 15 percent—last year.
That’s a big change, which could have an even bigger impact on American politics.
New immigrants line up firmly with the Democratic Party, polls show.
Natalie Winters of The War Room noted back in September that new immigrants vote overwhelmingly for liberals. “97%s—that’s what new polls are showing— of new citizen are so eager to vote, and they overwhelmingly vote Democrats. So, I’m all gung ho to focus on non-citizens voting,” she said, but Republicans need scrutinize every aspect of immigration as intently the Democrats focus on “importing tens of millions of people, always conveniently into swing states.”
WINTERS: Here’s the real issue: Biden has naturalized 3.5 million since 2020, with 97% eager to vote Democrat. House Republicans funding his regime with a 3 month CR are aiding the DHS in bringing millions, often into swing states. So, don’t lecture the WarRoom. @nataliegwinters pic.twitter.com/OwDYa1QLOL

Even The New York Times got around to calling Biden’s one term in office, “The Largest Immigration Surge in U.S. History.”
“Annual net migration — the number of people coming to the country minus the number leaving — averaged 2.4 million people from 2021 to 2023, according to the Congressional Budget Office. Total net migration during the Biden administration is likely to exceed eight million people,” wrote Times senior writer David Leonhardt.
This didn’t happen by accident. Biden issued 605 immigration-related executive actions as of December 6, compared to 472 in President Trump’s entire first term.
The second scandal came from expanding how many illegal immigrants are “temporarily” exempted from deportation.
The number of people designated as part of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) skyrocketed by an unbelievable 240 percent during the Biden years.
The number of illegal immigrants suddenly made “legal” under TPS jumped from 320,000 in April 2021 to 1,095,115 this month, according to data released from the Congressional Research Service.
Right now, aliens from 17 countries can stay in the United States “legally”: Afghanistan, Burma, Cameroon, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Haiti, Honduras, Lebanon, Nepal, Nicaragua, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Yemen.
None of those countries is especially pro-American.
But, of course, there’s nothing temporary about TPS.
Honduras and Nicaragua have been under Temporary Protected Statu since 1998—an incredible 26 years, and counting.
Third, the Migration Policy Institute reports that the Biden administration “more than doubled the length of work authorizations,” the amount of time a foreigner can take a job from a U.S. citizen—even as the worst inflation in four decades squeezed U.S. citizens harder and harder this Christmas shopping season.
All this is in addition to that fact that, under Biden’s watch, the U.S. has seen an estimated 10 million illegal border crossings…although, as The Horn reported exclusively, an expert testified before Congress that number is actually closed to 30 million illegal border crossings in less than four years.
That vast, uncounted army includes drug cartels, human traffickers, and their sex slaves, in addition to more than enough fentanyl to kill every American citizen.
Biden’s ignoble immigration end is as big a disaster as the rest of his presidency. And it deserves to be remembered as such.
