Joe Biden has very controversial plans for Monday

As America approaches the anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, Joe Biden is planning two unprecedented betrayals of the survivors’ families.

First, Biden has quietly announced that he has other things to do, so he will skip the solemn ceremonies that every one of his predecessors have observed for the 22 years since the assault… and believe it or not, that’s the least of his offenses.

Biden will avoid all three of the major sites where 3,000 Americans perished after a terrorist attack masterminded by Osama bin Laden.

“President Joe Biden, likely at the urging of his Democrat handlers, is planning to break a tradition and in doing so, upset tens of millions of Americans,” said talk show host Charlie Kirk.

In fact, the White House says, Biden won’t even be in the continental United States: He’ll be in Alaska.

Instead, “Doctor” Jill Biden is scheduled to lay a wreath at the Pentagon Memorial next Monday morning—provided she’s over her bout of COVID-19.

But Kamala Harris will be taking center stage. Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, will take part in the annual 9/11 observance in Lower Manhattan that’s usually broadcast internationally.

Biden will be in Alaska, meeting with a few members of the military stations at the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage. “The fact that he is not doing anything to commemorate that horrible day is a disgrace,” said George Pataki, who was governor of New York on 9/11.

The schedule is a major step backward for Biden, who took part in a Pentagon ceremony last year and, in 2021, visited all three sites struck by terror: New York City; Washington, D.C.; and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Even then, Biden decided against giving a speech to the country on the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

The media ran interference for Biden this year, with the Associated Press stating, “It will not be the first time that a president has not attended annual observances at any of the three sites.”

But George W. Bush and Barack Obama participated from the White House, not in Alaska.

Biden announced he will skip the event, because he will be returning from the G20 summit in New Delhi and a separate meeting hobnobbing with Asian leaders in Vietnam… but Biden’s White House scheduled those meetings. “What possible reason is there for this move?” asked podcaster Noam Blum.

“IMO they’re testing the waters for a Harris administration (either b/c Biden steps down or just doesn’t run for 2024),” one woman suggested.

“Honest answer: fewer people and therefore chances to look foolish on cellphone videos in Alaska,” one reader replied.

“Even being gracious to Biden, it’s very hard not to think this,” said Blum.

Former Gov. Pataki said Biden is dodging NYC, because “he’s afraid someone is going to ask him about the migrants” flooding the city thanks to his open borders policies.

As bad as Biden’s decision to ditch Americans killed on 9/11 might be, it’s not the worst way he’s harming the families, and all Americans. Second, Joe Biden is considering rewarding five of the terrorists behind 9/11 by giving them plea deals.

Biden had the FBI and Pentagon tell survivors that Biden is tired of fighting the terrorists and their lawyers in court—so Biden is going to settle. Biden’s plea bargain would make sure Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four others being held in Guantanamo Bay never face the death penalty.

Not quite as sweet a deal as Hunter Biden got, but not bad.

“The pain is all the worse as we learn from the Department of Justice, practically on the eve of the 9/11 anniversary, in a form letter that it is proposing a deal with terrorist Khalid Sheikh Mohammed that will prevent a public trial and will continue to keep the information provided to his legal team … secret and hidden not only from the 9/11 Families but from the American public,” wrote 2,000 members of the families to Biden.

Not only are families grieving, but Biden’s betrayal has a lot of politicians seeing red.

“I am holding the Biden administration accountable for trying to give the 9/11 terrorists a plea deal,” said Senator Ted Cruz, R-Texas.

“Any outcome short of the death penalty is unacceptable and constitutes a total failure by the Department of Defense. Justice must be served.”

I joined w/ @RepMikeLawler to demand Biden abandon any consideration of plea deals for 9/11 terrorists that take the death penalty off the table. 9/11 families deserve justice and these terrorists deserve to face the most severe consequence possible for their murderous actions. pic.twitter.com/ViGXWQyXRC

Rep. Mike Lawler, R-N.Y., led 34 of his House colleagues in a letter to Biden,

“I strongly oppose any plea deal for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and other 9/11 terrorists and will continue working with my colleagues to ensure they are brought to justice,” said Rep. Lawler. “I strongly oppose any plea deal for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and other 9/11 terrorists and will continue working with my colleagues to ensure they are brought to justice.

Bringing real justice “should mean the death penalty for these murderers,” the congressmen wrote.

Biden gave Afghanistan back to the Taliban without rescuing all Americans first.

Now he wants to stop worrying about any aspect of 9/11—no matter how it hurts real Americans.
