The outbreak of the Wuhan flu is perhaps the worst thing that could have happened to former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign.
Not only has it caused global economic gridlock, but it has also turned the 2020 Democratic nomination into an afterthought.
Biden is being drowned out in all the coronavirus madness — but that hasn’t stopped him from spreading lies about COVID-19.
He appeared on ABC News’ “This Week” to continue fudging the truth when talking to concerned Americans.
Of course, no segment featuring a Democrat is complete without scrutiny of how President Donald Trump is handling the pandemic.
Biden was no exception, as he railed on about how late America’s response was, claiming that 45 other nations had already put a travel ban on China before the U.S.
“[Trump] indicated that I complimented him on – on dealing with China,” Biden said. “Well, you know, 45 nations had already moved to keep – block China’s personnel from being able to come to the United States before the president moved.”
Joe Biden lives in a alternate reality.
Over 2 months ago, when Trump announced travel restrictions with China, Joe Biden was criticizing Trump for “xenophobia.”
Today, Biden criticized Trump for the speed he enacted the travel ban.

Biden made the comment attempting to play up the narrative that American leaders were asleep at the wheel when the global pandemic reached U.S. soil.
The facts say otherwise.
After the World Health Organization declared the Wuhan flu as a “public health emergency of international concern,” Trump quickly announced the China travel ban, effective Feb. 2.
The U.S. was one of 36 nations with some sort of travel restrictions on China by Feb. 2. Factcheck.org claims that Trump’s executive order occurred on par with other nations, which puts to bed the narrative that Trump was resorting to Draconic measures prematurely.
Let’s also not forget –– shortly after the travel ban was announced, Biden criticized him for it and implied the president was xenophobic…
We are in the midst of a crisis with the coronavirus. We need to lead the way with science — not Donald Trump’s record of hysteria, xenophobia, and fear-mongering. He is the worst possible person to lead our country through a global health emergency.

Biden reversed course on Apr. 3 and agreed with the timely travel ban, which Dr. Anthony Fauci said saved countless Americans lives.
His media soundbites are evidence that Biden has agreed with the president’s moves — but in a desperate bid to stay relevant, he is taking every opportunity to spread lies about the White House’s handling of coronavirus.
