Before his death, disgraced pedophile Jeffrey Epstein had threatened to expose billionaire Bill Gates sexual affair with a Russian bridge player, a bombshell new report claims.
Epstein died by hanging inside a New York jail cell in 2019; officials labeled his untimely death a suicide.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Epstein had threatened to expose Gates’ affair in 2017 when the Microsoft founder declined to join a philanthropic venture.
According to The New York Post —
Gates met [Mila Antonova] in 2010, with the two were playing in a tournament together after she moved to the Bay Area to work as a software engineer, the newspaper said.
While Antonova acknowledged that she was on friendly terms with Gates during a 2010 video about her love of bridge, the two allegedly had a brief romance while Gates was still married to his then-wife, Melinda French Gates, sources told the Journal.
Epstein, meanwhile, met Antonova while she was looking for financial backers for a bridge academy and later paid for her to attend software coding school, according to the report.
Gates had previously admitted to meeting with Epstein several times through the 2010s, despite Epstein’s conviction in 2008 for the solicitation of a minor for prostitution.
Epstein was reportedly trying to repair his reputation at the time by creating a massive charitable foundation with Gates, and dropped his name to financial giant JPMorgan Chase while trying to secure financing for the would-be philanthropic venture.
After he was rejected by both, Epstein suggested in an email to Gates that he could reveal the tech billionaire’s secret affair with Antonova years earlier — a hint at blackmail.
Gates has expressed regret over his meetings with Epstein.
“Mr. Gates met with Epstein solely for philanthropic purposes. Having failed repeatedly to draw Mr. Gates beyond these matters, Epstein tried unsuccessfully to leverage a past relationship to threaten Mr. Gates,” a spokesperson for Gates said.
Gates had “no financial dealings” with Epstein, his spokesperson said.
Antonova also said she had no relationship with Epstein outside their meetings and considered him a “successful businessman” that only “wanted to help” the less fortunate.
“I am disgusted with Epstein and what he did,” she told The Journal.
