Sen. J.D. Vance, R-O.H., Donald Trump’s running mate in the 2024 presidential election, appeared on Fox News‘ “The Ingraham Angle” on Wednesday to drop a truthbomb on reports of the former president’s alleged “poor mood” and “frustration” with the campaign that have begun circulating in the mainstream media.
When host Laura Ingraham asked about reports that Trump is “in a bad mood” and “snapping at everyone,” Vance shot it down.
“It’s so weird, Laura, to hear the media reports and to see what they say about him and then actually talk to him every day, sometimes multiple times per day,” Vance said.
“He’s in a great mood. I mean, he just got shot a month ago, of course, and you wouldn’t know it seeing or talking to the guy,” Vance said about Trump’s demeanor.
He added that Trump feels “extremely confident” about the election and is “very excited about getting to work and solving the problems for the American people.”
“He’s laughing. He’s telling jokes,” Vance said. “He calls people and just wants to shoot the breeze and understand what’s happening in the country.”
Vance called reports from the media “such a dishonest piece of garbage” and praised Trump’s supreme confidence.
“He knows he’s going to win this race, Laura, but, most importantly, he knows he’s going to be able to be a very good president for the American people one more time,” he said.
