First daughter Ivanka Trump responded Wednesday to former siter-in-law Vanessa Trump’s shocking cancer announcement with a powerful prayer.

“Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery,” Ivanka said. “Love you mama.”

Vanessa Trump, who shares children with Ivanka’s brother Don Jr., announced she has been diagnosed with breast cancer earlier that day, and the Trump family was quick to rally around one of their own.

Vanessa first broke the news in an emotional Instagram statement early Wednesday, and said she had already begun the fight earlier this week as part of an active cancer treatment plan.

“I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer,” Vanessa wrote. “While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.”

“I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me,” she wrote. “Thank you for your kindness and support — it truly means more than I can express. I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery.”

Vanessa did not disclose the stage of her cancer or the specific nature of the procedure she underwent. She and Don Jr. divorced in 2018 after 12 years of marriage. They share five children: Kai, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe.

She has largely maintained a private life since the split, though she has recently gone public with her relationship with golf legend Tiger Woods earlier this year.

The sad cancer news comes just days before Don Jr.’s Memorial Day weekend wedding to fiancee Bettina Anderson in the Bahamas.

Vanessa is not the only woman in conservative circles facing a cancer battle. Fox News anchor Kat Timpf recently revealed her own breast cancer diagnosis right after the birth of her son.

Now, Vanessa Trump is fighting too.

The Trump family is behind her.
