The mainstream media have been in full attack after conservative Milo Yiannopoulos stated during an interview some controversial comments that seemed to be an endorsement of pedophilia.
But there’s something they won’t tell you — they’re ignoring leftists doing the exact same thing.
Newly uncovered tapes and revealed at least one outspoken liberal celebrity and a popular leftist political commentator have both endorsed pedophilia in the past, but the media didn’t bother covering the horrific comments.
Liberal actor George Takei, best known for playing Hikaru Sulu in the “Stark Trek” TV series and movies, bragged about his own experience with pedophilia in an interview with Howard Stern in 2006.
Takei described a sexual encounter with an “18 or 19” year-old camp counselor when Takei was 13.
A clearly illegal sexual interaction that this actor was discussing proudly… and the media didn’t think twice.
Another advocate of pedophilia is leftist political commentator Bill Maher. In the late 90’s, Maher discussed a teacher who was imprisoned for being “in love,” according to Maher.
The teacher in question is a 35 year-old woman who had become impregnated (not once, but twice) by a 14-year-old student. When a guest on his show asserts that the woman clearly raped the man due to the massive age difference, Maher defended the teacher.
“I am completely defending, not only the woman, but the boy as well.”
Where was the liberal media outrage?
To be fair, the media’s critiques must be consistent, regardless of the political affiliation of the individual under attack.
In this case of those allegedly condoning pedophilia, the liberal media has failed.
