“On the Holmes Front,” with Frank Holmes
With trial dates looming, funds drying up, and his father facing a humiliating defeat in the November election, it seems like things could hardly get worse for Hunter Biden.
But over Memorial Day weekend, it did.
Explosive new evidence shows that Hunter Biden committed perjury and could face additional federal charges, according to documents released this week.
The House Ways and Means Committee released reams of evidence that they say proves Joe Biden’s son lied to lawmakers while under oath.
“Hunter Biden repeatedly lied to Congress in his February deposition to distance his involvement in what should be considered a clear scheme to enrich the Biden family,” said Rep. Jason Smith, R-Mo., who chairs the committee.
Whistleblowers inside the IRS released the data — which includes text messages and a host of other never-before-seen information — to the committee after Hunter Biden’s congressional testimony.
First, say lawmakers, Hunter Biden lied about a threatening text message he sent, saying that his father is right next to him, demanding a Chinese official named Raymond Zhao wire him millions of dollars ASAP.
Biden told the committee he texted “the wrong Zhao.” Raymond Zhao had no ability to send him money, no ties to the company, he said — and he only texted the wrong man because he was “high or drunk.”
But days later a Chinese energy firm (CEFC) wired $5 million. So the text got the job done.
“These documents make clear that Hunter Biden was using his father’s name to shake down a Chinese businessman – and it worked.”
Hunter Biden also told a bald-faced lie when he claimed he was not the corporate secretary of Rosemont Seneca Bohai, a shell company that helped launder foreign money to the Biden family.
The documents show that, on an official Rosemont Seneca Bohai document, Hunter Biden swore and certified for all legal purposes: “I, Robert Hunter Biden, hereby certify that I am the duly elected, qualified and acting Secretary of Rosemont Seneca Bohai, LLC.”
Third, Republicans say, Hunter lied about whether he ever pulled strings to get any of his overseas business associates a U.S. visa.
But whistleblowers blew the lid off that, too.
An email they proved, written by Biden’s friend and business associate Devon Archer, said point blank: “Hunter is checking with Miguel Aleman to see if he can provide cover to Kola on the visa.”
Who’s Kola? He’s not the heir to the Pepsi fortune.
Kola was “the CEO of Burisma, Nikolay Zlochevsky,” said Smith. The email also indicates the Burisma CEO’s “U.S. visa was revoked, as there was concern about his foreign travel.”
“These documents also confirm, again, that the IRS Whistleblowers have been telling the truth all along,” Smith said.
We know politicians and their families have no problem lying—especially the Biden family. But misleading people under oath could land Biden in permanent federal housing.
The idea that Hunter could do more jail time for perjury couldn’t hit at a worse time.
Hunter Biden’s in big trouble financially: The friend who has been financing his defense, Kevin Morris, says he’s broke and can’t pay another cent toward the First Son’s legal bills.
But Morris benefited at least a little bit from his association with Hunter Biden: Joe Biden’s CIA stepped in to stop agents from investigating Morris as part of the Biden inquest, according to experts with knowledge on the matter.
The IRS was closing in on Hunter Biden and wanted to question Morris to put the nail in his coffin… but the CIA allegedly told them to back off.
IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley testified to the Biden administration’s interference into the matter, under oath.
And no one is questioning the truthfulness of the testimony he offered before Congress — unlike Hunter Biden.
