Last week, every TV network in America reported that Hunter Biden pulled a publicity stunt by walking into, and out of, a congressional hearing—but they didn’t tell you why. They probably didn’t even ask.
What sets The Horn News apart is, we ask, we learn—and we deliver.
In this case, the answer was hiding in plain sight: Just one day before Hunter’s disappearing act, someone else testified before the House…and what he said was shocking.
On Tuesday, the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability announced it had spoken to Hunter Biden’s art dealer behind closed doors—and he doesn’t paint a pretty picture.
Hunter Biden has said he’s become an artist to help overcome his addiction to crack cocaine—and coincidentally, he started selling his masterpieces just as his father became president of the United States.
Biden’s critics warned the combination of Biden’s influence-peddling with the sleazy world of art sales would create an atmosphere perfect for bribery.
Now, Hunter Biden’s art dealer, Georges Bergès, has confirmed they were right.
“The Biden White House appears to have deceived the American people about facilitating an ethics agreement governing the sale of Hunter Biden’s art,” Rep. James Comer, the Oversight Committee chair, said in a statement.
“Hunter Biden’s gallerist never had any communication with the White House about such an agreement to make sure there was any sort of ethics compliance at all.”
One Democratic donor, Kevin Morris, spent $875,000 on Biden’s artwork, the gallery owner reportedly told Congress.
Joe Biden appointed Elizabeth Hirsh Naftali to the Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad in July 2023, after she started grabbing every Biden painting not tied down. She spent at least $94,000 before gaining her post.
In another huge coincidence, one of Naftali’s relatives happened to be the first American hostage released from Gaza.
The Biden administration promised Hunter would never know who bought his pictures—that the White House had personally hammered out the ethics deal to secure the integrity of the Oval Office.
That means the White House lied to your face.
“After careful consideration, a system has been established that allows for Hunter Biden to work in his profession within reasonable safeguards, said Jen Psaki, who was then White House spokeswoman and now works as a talking head on MSNBC, back in January of 2021.
“Of course, he has the right to pursue an artistic career just like any child of a president has the right to pursue a career.”
Unfortunately, his new career just amounted to a new role in the Biden family business: influence-peddling.
Bergès reportedly said the First Son knew the identities of 70 percent of the people who bought his artwork.
So much for anonymity.

Kathleen Clark, a professor at Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and a legal ethics expert, told Politico the entire arrangement was “whacko” from an ethical standpoint. “It leaves, frankly, the Biden administration wide open to concerns that people are going to buy influence by buying Hunter Biden’s paintings at what might be inflated prices.”
“It’s bizarre that that’s the solution that they came upon,” said Clark…unless they didn’t want a solution.
Psaki insisted, “We still do not know and will not know who purchases any paintings, and the president remains proud of his son.”
Art dealer reveals Hunter Biden knew 'sugar brother' was top buyer, making WH ethics pledge a 'sham': Comer – Fox News
So Jen! Were you lying back then? Or is the art dealer lying now?https://t.co/leo2eZeTXv pic.twitter.com/swDTV2ZV5i

At least Psaki lied to you: Her successor hasn’t been willing to talk about it at all.
Karine Jean-Pierre refused to answer a word about the controversy. In fact, Jean-Pierre has ducked the issue of Hunter’s art sales again and again.
The Bidens have been raking in the cash, but now the good times are coming to an end.
First, his art dealer came forward.
Then, later in the week, Comer revealed he wants to pry into another case of Hunter dipping his brush, by examining the financial records of his child support case with an Arkansas stripper he got pregnant.
“That’s very valuable information to our investigation, because it details income,” possibly revealing “what this family did to receive money from our enemies around the world and how much money” they received for it, Comer told the conservative news outlet Just The News.
Then, on Thursday, Hunter had to file a guilty plea to nine new felony charges, which carry a 17-year sentence behind bars.
Hunter’s exploits have disgraced the White House, embarrassed the Democratic Party, and compromised our national integrity.
When they hang Joe Biden’s official portrait in the White House, it should be a sad clown.
