Today is six months since President Joe Biden took office, and the Deep State has decided it can let some of the truth out: They hid just how corrupt everyone knew Hunter Biden was until after Biden won the 2020 election.
The people who spent all last summer investigating Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, just bragged about how they kept the serious charges out of the news during Joe’s campaign against President Donald Trump — and even let the media claim the laptop was all a Russian disinformation campaign.
The details are in a tell-all story written by the inside-the-Beltway Bible, Politico.com.

Prosecutors actually launched a criminal probe into Hunter Biden’s potentially illegal actions all the way back in 2018. They had heard the president’s only surviving son might be laundering money to his father—charges which the laptop Hunter abandoned at a repair shop seems to bear out.
They also thought Hunter’s high-profile jobs for foreign firms meant that he violated a law against lobbying on behalf of a foreign government without a license, the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
But they graciously decided to let those issues—which involve Hunter’s old man, who is now president of the United States—fall by the wayside.
Instead, they turned the investigation to whether Hunter Biden paid all his taxes…and they did Joe Biden another favor: They kept the entire probe hush-hush for months while his team denied everything and squeaked out a win in the presidential race. David Weiss, the U.S. Attorney for Delaware, “decided to delay taking any actions that were likely to make the existence of the Hunter Biden probe public” during the razor-thin election, according to the Politico.com.
By the 2020 race, “The probe had reached a point where prosecutors could have sought search warrants and issued a flurry of grand jury subpoenas,” according to Politico.
It was time for Weiss to bring in the big guns and turn the screws on Hunter Biden—but he didn’t.
He basically put his investigation on hold while Joe Biden won the election.

“Concerns about affecting the presidential election loomed large” in Weiss’ mind.
It seems like he didn’t have any concern the American people might be acting blindly, electing a president tainted by corruption, scandal, and personal dirty deals because they didn’t know this information.
Those “concerns” over his probe came from anonymous members of the Delaware office, whispering that his legitimacy hung in the balance.
“To his credit, he listened,” the anonymous person told Politico.
Politico praised how disciplined Weiss and his staffers were at keeping the facts bottled up from the American people until after the election was over.
“Relatively few details of the Hunter Biden probe leaked ahead of the election, in part because the Delaware U.S. attorney’s office is small, and information is tightly guarded,” it reported.
It also mentioned how cozy the office—and all Delaware politics—are with people in power. Although it didn’t go into detail, Weiss was appointed to office by President Trump—but Trump relied on

Delaware’s two Democratic senators for the advice. Joe Biden’s successor, Sen. Chris Coons, even boasted, “I want to thank the White House for working with Senator Carper and me to present an excellent nominee for U.S. Attorney.”
“David Weiss is an excellent choice for U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware,” said fellow Delaware Democrat Sen. Tom Carper.
That illustrates another point the article made: Just a few families dominate Delaware politics, Politico said, and no one interested in moving up the career ladder wants to cross them. Did that convince these officials to keep quiet for months at a time about the most prominent family in state politics?
Either way, it worked. The investigation went on, and the American people were none the wiser until December.
The website also praised Weiss for outmaneuvering another federal investigation into Hunter Biden, run out of the Pittsburgh office, which could have tipped off the American people about just how corrupt the Biden family is.
That effort was headed up by Scott Brady—who processed all the information collected by Rudy Giuliani.
Brady had a lot more dirt and was willing to go to the wall with what he had…and Weiss didn’t like that.
“Pittsburgh was out of control,” said someone inside Weiss’ office.
The article doesn’t say it outright—but it strongly implies that Weiss told his higher-ups that he was “worried that the Western Pennsylvania probe would be seen as politically motivated and would undermine” his older, cozier investigation.
“It was a close call,” the anonymous source told Politico. “That case has way more credibility now.”
So does Weiss, thanks to Politico.
It ran an orgasmic profile that plugged every aspect of Weiss’ life. He’s “devoted to his wife, Deborah, also an attorney, and two adult daughters. He is also a devoted fan of the Grateful Dead and plays golf on occasion.”
The influential website also bragged about Weiss’ “bipartisan reputation for professionalism” and “sober-minded approach to his job.” And Politico mentioned “the prosecutor’s willingness to stand up to the handful of closely intertwined families that dominate the small state’s affairs”…possibly to establish his bona fides as a “straight-shooters” when he lets Biden off Scot-free.
Now that the election is over, the Deep State is taking a victory lap, rubbing it in Americans’ faces that it looks out for its own—no matter how it has to keep voters in the dark.
