In March, President Joe Biden denied reports about three of his family members receiving money from foreign businesses tied to the Chinese Communist Party.
“That’s not true,” he told reporters at the time.
However, First Son Hunter Biden appeared in court Wednesday to say otherwise.
Hunter Biden’s lawyer Chris Clark reportedly detailed the payments in front of the judge.
“During calendar year 2017, [Hunter] Biden earned substantial income, including: just under $1 million from a company he formed with the CEO of a Chinese business conglomerate [BHR Partners]; $666,666 from his domestic business interests; approximately $664,000 from a Chinese infrastructure investment company [CEFC],” Hunter Biden’s lawyer told the judge, according to a court transcript obtained by a nonprofit.
The lawyer also reportedly mentioned “$70,000 relating to a Romanian business; and $48,000 from the multi-national law firm.”

House Oversight Committee Chair Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., has long accused Hunter Biden of taking money from a company at the mercy of President Xi Jinping’s administration in China.
“Most of this money came as a result of a wire from a Chinese energy company and went not only to Hunter and James Biden, but also to Hallie Biden and an unknown ‘Biden.’ It is unclear what services were provided to obtain this exorbitant amount of money,” Comer said in a statement in March.
“The Oversight Committee is concerned about the national security implications resulting from President Biden’s family receiving millions of dollars from foreign nationals. We will continue to follow the money trail and facts to determine if President Biden is compromised by his family’s business schemes and if there is a national security threat.”
In the past, President Biden has denied other allegations against his son… and he’s been caught lying then, too.
Hunter Biden was set to plead guilty to lying on an application to purchase a gun… and the president admitted a lack of knowledge about this entire scandal during a CNN interview last year.
