Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer can’t seem to figure out when her microphone is on or off.
And her latest “hot mic” moment is leaving voters stunned… and furious.
Whitmer, rumored to be a candidate for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination in 2028, recently attended a groundbreaking for a data center in Saline Township. The project has been deeply controversial and has drawn strong opposition from residents worried about noise, pollution, water quality, and the destruction of farmland.
But in a conversation with an Oracle executive, Whitmer appears to say, “We’re used to people saying ‘f*** no,’ and doing it anyway.”
Michigan residents say Whitmer’s comments are reflective of the dismissive manner and contempt with which she’s treated her voters and their concerns over the project.
Check out the hot mic moment below.
Democrat Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer was caught on hot mic with Oracle CEO Clay Magouyrk, INSULTING locals and bragging about how she ignores their concerns.

And this is certainly not Whitmer’s first hot mic gaffe. She was previously caught uttering profanity on an open microphone before her 2020 speech to the Democratic National Convention.
