A young Hollywood actress, Mareli Miniutti, has filed a petition to the courts for a restraining order against porn lawyer Michael Avenatti.
The paperwork was filed just days after Avenatti was arrested for allegedly beating a woman so badly her face was left “swollen and bruised.”
The restraining order court hearing will be held on December 10.
It wasn’t immediately clear if Miniutti was the domestic violence accuser.
Avenatti has venomously denied all the allegations against him. “I look forward to a full clearing of my name and disclosure of all of the facts, “Avenatti recently wrote on Twitter.
In fact, Aveantti — an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump — claims the domestic violence charges are part of a right-wing conspiracy against him.
“First [special counsel Robert] Mueller and now me,” he tweeted Thursday, targeting an obscure conservative activist and social media personality. “When we are fully exonerated I am coming for you Jacob Wohl aka Surefire.”
Miniutti isn’t a particularly well known actress, but did recently appear in the blockbuster “Ocean’s 8.” She is also slated to appear in a movie starring Kurt Russell titled “Crypto” in the coming year.
The restraining order against Avenatti is the latest in a long line of controversies that have plagued the infamous pornography lawyer in the past year.
Avenatti has been convicted of cheating his business partner, was caught not paying his taxes, lied to millions of Americans, filed for divorce, and allegedly beat up a woman.
Avenatti announced recently he was planning to run for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020.
