Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has a new job.
Hillary announced Monday that she is joining the media world with a brand new podcast of her own.
In doing so, she joins a company where she has her fair share of critics including Sean Hannity, Ben Shapiro, and Rush Limbaugh.
According to Politico, the podcast will attempt to offer insight into the former secretary of state’s life.
A deep dive beyond just Hillary Clinton the candidate, which Politico says is ironic, considering that many consider her to be “inauthentic” and that she has long been skeptical of the media.
Politico wrote that her podcast will debut late Spring.
” … a meeting of the minds with people of grit and determination,” a person close to Hillary said in describing the upcoming podcast.
Politico reports that Hillary became enamored with the idea of a podcast after appearing on television personality Conan O’Brien’s podcast “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend,” as well as radio shock jock Howard Stern’s radio program, who loosened up the former presidential candidate with an honest conversation.
While appearing on Stern’s show she made headlines for being “unfiltered” and opening up on a plethora of topics.
The podcast will be co-produced by iHeartMedia. The title of the podcast has yet to be announced.
“She wants to try to have a wider-ranging conversation that will be lasting,” a source close to the Clintons said, “So you can listen to it in a year or you can listen to it tomorrow and it will be interesting. And then, of course, she’ll do some ranting and raving about the news of the day.”
