Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has always pretended to be a feminist hero – but she just got shot down by the leader of the #MeToo movement over her outrageous attempt to defend her serial predator husband.
For decades, the media has been willing to give her a pass over former President Bill Clinton’s outrageous sexploits – and her role in smearing his victims.
But those days are over… and Hillary is looking embarrassed and humiliated.
On last week’s CBS “Sunday Morning,” reporter Tony Dokoupil asked her whether “in retrospect” Bill should have resigned as president over his affair with his intern Monica Lewinsky.
“Absolutely not,” Hillary shot back.
He followed up by asking, “It wasn’t an abuse of power?”
“No, no!” Hillary said, trying to shut down the question as quickly as possible – but Dokoupil wasn’t ready to let it go yet.
Bill was the president of the United States, he said. He was 27 years older than she was – more than old enough to be her father. He was her boss – and the most powerful man in the world.
Doesn’t that bleed over into sexual harassment?
“She was an adult,” Hillary said coldly.
Of course, most female victims of sexual harassment are adults. Age isn’t the point: Pressure, power, and exploitation are – and boy, did Bill check all those boxes.
The outrage started to fly immediately.

But the biggest slap down came from the founder of the #MeToo movement – who says Hillary is dead wrong… Bill acted like a creep!
“When I think about the things that Hillary Clinton said about the Monica Lewinsky and Bill Clinton affair not being an abuse of power, that is just tragic and it’s wrong,” said Tarana Burke – a #MeToo founder.
Sure Lewinsky was an adult, but “two people made a choice, and one of those people was the most powerful man in the world,” Burke said in a video posted by the website “The Root.”
“You’re talking about an age dynamic, but you’re also talking about the president of the United States!” Burke said. “The amount of power, the amount of accumulated power that is in that position alone – versus an intern – it’s absolutely an abuse of power.”
You know who agrees with that? Monica Lewinksy.
She tweeted the #Metoo hashtag – and revealed she’s been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder over the fallout from her affair with Bill.
At 44 the affair has haunted her for half her life – and she’s just starting to see the way Bill manipulated her.
“I’m beginning to entertain the notion that in such a circumstance the idea of consent might well be rendered moot,” she wrote in Vanity Fair.
She said she’s grateful to all the women who have come forward – against other abusers – because now she knows “I’m not alone anymore.”

The Democrats and the media turned a blind eye to the Clintons’ sexual harassment – and possibly rape – along with their other cornucopia of scandals… as long as they were the most powerful couple in the country.
That let Hillary pose as the greatest champion of women’s rights. She never deserved that reputation. She’s nothing but a two-time loser married to an accused rapist.
The left is starting to wash its hands of both of them… and her hopes of getting elected president in 2020 are going down in flames.
