President Donald Trump is celebrating his 72nd birthday on Thursday, and many Americans were chomping at the bit to send him birthday wishes.
Trump’s eldest daughter, Ivanka, shared a happy birthday message to her father on social media featuring a throwback photo from the 1980s.
Her sweet message read, “”Happy, happy birthday Dad!” Ivanka tweeted on Thursday morning. “I love you very much. Wishing you your best year yet!!!”

Ivanka may even get extra credit from her father for being all her other siblings to the punch!
Although she may have been the first Trump child to wish her father a happy birthday, Trump already started the celebrations while visiting Singapore for the historic summit with North Korea.
Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong surprised the president with a birthday cake while they enjoyed a lunch together.
In a tweet early Thursday morning, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee wished acknowledged the president’s birthday, while also throwing a dig at liberals.
No doubt the media is sad to recognize that @realDonaldTrump is celebrating his birthday in @WhiteHouse but will REALLY hurt them when he celebrates 6 more in the @WhiteHouse
