GOP leaders furious over White House cocaine ‘investigation’

On Thursday, the Secret Service decided to stop investigating the cocaine found at the White House… and House Republicans became livid.

“There is no equal justice,” House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said Thursday. “Anything revolving around ‘Biden, Inc.’ gets treated different than any other American and that’s got to stop.”

McCarthy wasn’t alone. Republicans received a closed briefing Thursday on the results of the investigation, and Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., was irate.

“We just never can seem to find answers,” Mace reportedly said after the meeting. “And for us, that’s frustrating.”

U.S. Secret Service agents found the white powder during a routine White House sweep on July 2, in a heavily trafficked West Wing lobby where staff go in and out, and tour groups gather to drop their phones and other belongings.

However, no one appeared more livid than Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo.

“So they have not been able to target when the substance was left who left it and they are eager to close the investigation which is extremely troubling,” Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado told reporters, according to The Washington Times.

“The Secret Service was very clear to say that these 500 individuals are not suspects. They are not looking into them… They said that it could have been a few hours, a couple of days or even years.”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., demanded drug testing for not only Biden’s staff, but also Biden’s visitors.

“My question to them was, have they drug-tested this list of 500 potential suspects that brought an illegal substance, or drug, cocaine, into the White House? Their answer was no and that they’re unwilling to do so,” Greene told reporters.

Take a look —

The Secret Service has narrowed down 500 people as the potential source of cocaine in the White House.

But they are ending the investigation tomorrow without administering drug tests to these individuals. A total failure.

Secret Service officials have defended the agency’s decision to cancel the investigation.

“Without physical evidence, the investigation will not be able to single out a person of interest from the hundreds of individuals who passed through the vestibule where the cocaine was discovered,” Secret Service officials said in a statement obtained by the Associated Press.

The officials added that no fingerprints or DNA turned up on the baggie of cocaine found in a lobby at the White House last week despite a sophisticated FBI crime lab analysis. They also said that surveillance footage of the area didn’t identify a suspect.
