President Donald Trump has built some of the best golf course in the entire world.
And the avid golfer-in-chief has also played with some of the best golfers in the world, including the likes of Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Bryson DeChambeau.
But one of golf’s most respected — and vocal — analysts recenty said there’s something about Trump’s golf game that few have picked up on.
But he did.
Golf analyst Brandel Chamblee revealed where Trump shines and struggles on the golf course after playing alongside the president before his re-election.
Chamblee, who is known for being one of the most honest analysts in golf, made some honest critiques about Trump’s game.
Chamblee said that Trump does very well off the tee but that the president could improve around the green.
“President Trump smokes it. Hits it on a line,” Chamblee told Skip Bayless.
The analyst compared Trump’s unique swing to former PGA Tour star Bruce Lietzke.
“He absolutely drives the eyes out of it. He’s not the best chipper, he’s not the best putter, but he drives the eyes out of it and hits a lot of great iron shots.”

“And he loves golf, absolutely loves golf. I brought a friend of mine along, the president couldn’t have been more engaging to everybody in the group,” added Chamblee.
“Our wives were there, he asked everybody questions and could speak in great detail about names and shots and golf.”
Chamblee also added that during his round with Trump, the two talked at length about LIV Golf.
Chamblee has been one of the most vocal critics of LIV Golf, while Trump has regularly held events of the Saudi-backed breakaway golf league at his courses.
“The whole day, he wanted to talk about LIV, and it was a fascinating day,” Chamblee recalled.
“One of the things he said to me, he was very generous: I know we disagree about LIV but let me just tell you why LIV is going to make it”.
“He said: “Yasir (Al-Rumayyan), who heads PIF (the Saudi Public Investment Fund), who funds LIV, loves golf more than you do and more than I do. Now that’s hard to believe. But that’s what he said.”
