One of the richest liberal megadonors just put his money where your favorite radio hosts’ mouths used to be.
The megadonor is George Soros, the 93-year-old, Hungarian-born, multi-billionaire. And he just made a game-changing bid to alter the 2024 presidential election.
Soros put a $400 million down payment on media control, critics say.
For decades, the liberal news media has done all it can to purge conservative voices from the airwaves — but their censorship efforts just got a major boost.
A fund close to the ultra-liberal Democratic donor just bought out the nation’s second-largest radio network.
Soros Fund Management LLC paid $400 million to buy out Audacy, which owns more than 220 radio stations nationwide.
Audacy, which has more stations than any network except iHeartMedia, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy—and Soros rushed in to buy up the stock at 50 cents on the dollar.
That gives the Soros group 40 percent of its stock.
George Soros’ media fire sale “could yield effective control of the media giant when it emerges from bankruptcy,” according to the New York Post.

“One insider close to the situation, noting that he was a Republican, said he believed it was possible Soros was buying the stake to exert influence on public opinion in the months leading up to the 2024 presidential election,” reported the New York Post.
“This is scary,” the source told the Post.
Some of the most influential people in the media are rarely seen on TV — and if Soros has his way, they won’t have any home on talk radio…the one media that conservatives dominate.
Reporters, editors, and commentators who would bring up America’s broken border, soaring inflation, or Joe Biden’s senility could have no place on the air.
Goodbye Dan Bongino, hello Taylor Swift.
The company basically admitted the Soros clan will be setting its new programming line-up.
Rush Limbaugh’s right-hand man, Bo Snerdley, called Soros’ investment a “massive bailout.”
“George Soros intends to control the narrative,” said Ian Miles Cheong. “This is a terrible development.”
“Remember this when Leftists bitch about Elon Musk & the Murdoch family,” said another commentator.
George Soros intends to control the narrative. He is poised to take a massive stake in America’s second-largest radio company, Audacy, which owns more than 220 stations nationwide.

That doesn’t just affect corporate control. That will filter all the way down to hundreds of radio stations nationwide, including your favorite sources to hear news, talk, music, entertainment, and information on the dial.
This isn’t the first time Soros has tried to corner the media market. Shortly after the left-wing Vice media company filed for bankruptcy last May, Soros paid $350 million for the company—which was once valued at $6 billion.
Soros also bought out a minority share in a podcasting network called Crooked Media, which was started by former members of the Obama administration.
Over the years, Soros has poured lots of money into cornering media of all kinds.
He donated $1.8 million to National Public Radio more than 20 years ago. Then he tried to pump up the “investigative” media company ProPublica.
All in all, “Soros has ties to more than 30 mainstream news outlets,” reported the Media Research Center.
Now, he wants to get a hold of the one market that gives conservatives a voice: talk radio.
“This story should be getting a lot more attention,” said conservative Breitbart News.
We couldn’t agree more—but it won’t be getting much daylight on Audacy radio stations…or anywhere else if Soros and his friends have their way.
Now, more than ever, having a truth-telling independent media source is pivotal. The Horn promises, we won’t be taking money from George Soros, Rob Reiner, or Sam Bankman-Fried. We won’t censor the facts to curry favor with our billionaire donors—because we don’t have any. Our only loyalty is to serve you, our readers, with the facts and analysis you won’t find anywhere else.
Keeping reading The Horn to make sure America adds the right name to the list of people we celebrate next President’s Day.
