One of the most infamous Democratic fundraisers in the world has big plans to corner the media market—part of the Left’s full court press to use its money to “fortify” the 2024 presidential election.
The plan comes from none other than far-Left megadonor George Soros, whose company has quietly let it be known it’s in the market to buy up radio markets.
Soros’ business conglomerate is eyeing plans to buy the radio megapower Cumulus Media, multiple news outlets have relayed.
Cumulus has more than 400 radio stations nationwide—but for Soros, that’s small potatoes.
“A person familiar with the company’s thinking told Semafor that it is the beginning of a bigger audio buying spree, three people who have been involved in discussions with Soros executives” told Max Tani of Semafor.com.
The Horn has told you about recent moves from George Soros to corner the radio market.
In February, the Soros Fund Management LLC paid $400 million to scoop up Audacy, which owns more than 220 radio stations from coast to coast—second only to iHeart Media.
The $400 million investment pays off Audacy’s debts, in exchange for the majority share in Audacy’s burgeoning radio and podcasting empire.
Some of Soros’ actions seem nakedly partisan.
In 2022, Soros helped hammer out a deal for the Spanish-language media empire, Univision, to sell off 18 radio stations to “former” Democratic politicos. The Democrats’ cool $60 million investment will help them target the Hispanic vote over the airwaves.
Several of the stations they bought had featured talk programs focused on the conservative, anti-Communist Cuban-American community.
Now, Soros wants to act—and act fast—before the November election.
The fund’s “lead media investor, Michael Del Nin, met with a number of major figures in digital media and audio over the last year, including the podcast company Project Brazen,” reports Semafor. “It has also eyed several potential companies for acquisition, including Pushkin Industries, the podcast company from Malcolm Gladwell and Jacob Weisberg, and Lemonadas.”
Basically, Semafor said, Soros want to influence the election—but he doesn’t want anyone reporting on it.
After all, he said, Audacy does a lot of things besides politics.
The Soros fund is “generally annoyed by coverage of the fund that casts its moves in a political light, noting in particular that the vast majority of Audacy stations are dedicated to sports and music, not news programming.”

But what would control of the nation’s airwaves by George Soros mean for conservative talk show hosts?
“How, for example, would the fund react if the radio hosts on conservative stations, such as Philadelphia’s 1210 WPHT, second-guess valid electoral results come November?” asked Semafor.
Soros doesn’t want to say. “A spokesperson for Soros Fund Management did not respond to an inquiry posing that question.”
But conservatives already see the handwriting on the airwaves.
“In the same way that Sinclair owns local news, radio is about to be owned by George Soros, who just recently scooped up 227 radio stations across the U.S.,” with “plans to buy up hundreds more,” said James Li. “Interesting timing, with you know, the 2024 election season ramping up…”

Even some members of Congress have started sounding the alarms about what a Soros-dominated news media would mean for America’s free elections.
“George Soros’ purchase of Audacy is another step in his effort to choke American radio with his own agenda,” said Rep. Nick Langworthy, R-N.Y. “It threatens not just the diversity of viewpoints on the airwaves, but it also has the potential to stifle local news and community-based reporting.”

Unfortunately, Soros is just one of numerous, shadowy megadonors who plan to throw their weight—and their money—around in the 2024 presidential election.
“So far, nine major outside spending groups say they will together spend nearly $800 million to support the reelection of President Biden,” reports the Epoch Times. “This is in addition to the massive financial resources the Biden campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) will likely pour into the rematch of the 2020 election.
The left-wing organizations include American Bridge 21st Century, Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy, Climate Power, League of Conservation Voters, MoveOn, Republican Voters Against Trump, Service Employees International Union, Unite the Country, and VoteVets.
Altogether, they plan to “spend a total of $792 million on the 2024 election to boost President Biden and the Democratic Party,” said the newspaper.
Soros and his cronies have every advantage in the 2024 presidential election: an incumbent president, control of most educational and entertainment outlets, and now a bought-and-paid-for media.
The one thing they don’t control is you. You can tune them out. And for the sake of America, you should.
Spread the word about Soros’ dirty radio takeover — and point your friends and loved ones to better news radio and TV networks.
And websites.
