One of Fox News’ biggest stars and longest-tenured hosts made a stunning announcement about his battle with cancer during a candid interview on the podcast Armchair Expert over the long Thanksgiving weekend.
Podcast host Dax Shepard hosted Fox News Sunday anchor and 2020 presidential debate moderator Chris Wallace on Nov. 35.

During the interview, Wallace surprised his host with details about his quiet fight with cancer, according to a recent Conservative Brief report.
“I had skin cancer. I had surgery on my nose,” Wallace said. “I had nose surgery.”
He cautioned listeners to wear sunscreen to prevent the same thing from happening to them.
“Please lather yourself with SPF, and wear a hat and take it seriously. I thought I had … but I ended up with [cancer] right on the middle of my nose and I had to have surgery,” Wallace said.
At 74-years-old, Wallace said the cancer scare was a real wake-up call — and while awake one night, he discovered Shepard’s podcast.
“I have this thing I like to call ‘calm-down time,’ which is I have about half an hour to 45 minutes at the end of the day,” he said. “My lovely wife Lorraine goes to sleep and I sit next to her, and I usually read a book.”
“But I wasn’t feeling like reading … so I discovered podcasts and I discovered Armchair Expert with you guys and I loved it.”
