Fox News star just dropped the biggest DOGE bombshell

Fox News host Jesse Watters just dropped a bombshell on fans with a radical new proposal for President Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) — returning billions in recovered government funds directly to taxpayers through reimbursement checks.

There have been reports of extensive financial recoveries by DOGE in its first month of operations, and up to $5 trillion in waste has been uncovered in just a few weeks.

The deep cuts to government bloat have caused panic among Democratic Party leaders and the mainstream media, but have been celebrated by Trump’s allies.

Watters called for taxpayers to be refunded the savings.

“Once your money hits Washington, it turns into a ghost. The Department of Government Efficiency says they found almost $5 trillion in payments that are untraceable,” Watters posted on social media Tuesday. “Now, Big Brother is getting Big Brothered — and they don’t like it one bit.”

“That’s too bad because DOGE says they’ve already saved $55 billion of your money,” Watters continued. “Instead of putting that money back in the Treasury — Donald Trump should give it back to the taxpayers. We should be giving out ‘DOGE Dividend’ checks.”

Trump recently highlighted DOGE’s early findings during an unscripted moment at a White House press conference, where he defended the agency’s director, Elon Musk, whom he called “a patriot.”

“I could read this all day long, I could go on all day long, and you’ll see hundreds of billions of dollars [in fraud],” Trump said, referring to prepared notes about the agency’s discoveries of waste and bloat.

“We have a very corrupt country…and it’s a sad thing to say. But we’re figuring it out,” he said.

The exchange occurred after a reporter questioned Musk’s authority, citing a White House court filing stating he “is not a DOGE employee, and has no authority to make decisions.”

Watters has emerged as an influential voice in conservative media during the second Trump administration, which Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., acknowledged is outpacing Democratic communication strategies.

“We are waging a 21st century information warfare campaign against the left,” Watters said on an earlier episode of “The Five” this week. “And they’re using tactics from the 1990s.”

“What you’re seeing on the right is asymmetrical. Someone says something on social media, Musk retweets it, Rogan podcasts it, Fox broadcasts it and by the time it reaches everybody, millions of people have seen it,” he said.

Murphy was forced to concede that Republicans have Democrats on their backheel.

“This is true,” the Democratic senator wrote. “And until the left builds an infrastructure to confront this reality — and stops acting like political communication is still just buying millions of TV and digital ads every two years — we are cooked.”

The White House has not yet released the official documentation supporting the financial figures cited by Trump and Watters regarding DOGE’s investigations into government spending, but has vowed to be transparent.
