Businessman Paul Pelosi pleaded guilty last year to driving under the influence. At the time, Pelosi was the husband of the sitting House speaker.
One year on, a Fox News star has uncovered the details about how Pelosi fulfilled his plea deal.

“Paul Pelosi’s back behind the wheel,” Fox News host Jesse Watters announced on the air Thursday. “Primetime has exclusively obtained court documents from Pelosi’s D.U.I. in Napa.”
Last year, the 82-year-old Pelosi was sentenced to five days in jail and three years of probation. However, he didn’t set foot in a jailhouse after his sentencing. By then, he’d already served two days in jail, and he received good conduct credit for two additional days, Napa County Superior Court Judge Joseph Solga said.
Pelosi, then 82, worked eight hours in the court’s work program in lieu of the remaining day, the judge said during the sentencing.
Watters discovered what Pelosi did during these eight hours of community service.
“The documents say Pelosi contributed to the community by doing chores at a place called Alternatives for Better Living, the same place where he completed his three-month D.U.I. program,” Watters aid. “We’re told those chores can include sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and taking out the garbage — all the things Pelosis usually hire a maid for.”
According to the Fox News report, Pelosi is already allowed to remove the breathalyzer from his car.
“After Pelosi drunkenly smashed his Porsche into a truck last summer, the court mandated that Pelosi strap a breathalyzer to his car to test if he’s sober before he drives,” Watters said. “Records now show that Pelosi got rid of the breathalyzer. He can now drive his hybrid Porsche Panorama without blowing into the tube.”

Pelosi was also required to pay about $5,000 in victim restitution for medical bills and lost wages and nearly $2,000 in fines, according to the judge’s remarks from last year.
Watters concluded, “Has justice been served? No. But we’ll take what we can get.”
