The lobby of Fox News Channel in New York City was overrun by a mob of pro-Palestinian protesters on Friday.
Carrying a sign that read, “Fox News lies coverup genocide,” the protesters chanted through a bullhorn and refused to leave.
“If a Conservative protested like this we’d be sitting in the Po Po, labeled extremists, racists, & be facing the NY AG’s wrath. TRUE STORY,” wrote a conservative on Twitter. “Pro-Palestinian protestors are occupying the lobby of Fox News in New York City.”
Leading the mob that disrupted Fox News’ headquarters was the Socialist Party 2024 presidential candidate Claudia De La Cruz.
“We joined activists to shut down NewsCorp – the home of Fox News, the WSJ and the NY Post – all media corporations that stand with the U.S. war hawks who continue bankrolling the Israeli genocide of Palestinian people in Gaza with our tax dollars!” her campaign posted on Twitter.
New York City police arrested many of the protesters when they refused to leave, an increasingly common tactic.
Pro-Palestinian protesters had also recently stormed and occupied the New York Times headquarters earlier this week.
And in San Francisco, anti-Israeli protesters shut down the Bay Bridge for hours before being arrested on Wednesday.
