Former MLB pitcher Greg Swindell was no stranger to pressure during his playing days.
But when news that his daughter had gone missing, this was beyond any pressure Swindell ever enduring during his playing career.
Swindell issued a statement to Twitter announcing that his daughter Brenna, a single mother of three, “has been found.”
He announced the update to the search for his daughter online Tuesday morning. The former pitcher said he had no further information to share and thanked “everyone” for their support.
“Thank you to everyone. And I mean everyone who helped in the process.”
She has been found. That’s all we have for now. Thank you to everyone. And I mean everyone who helped in the process. 🙏🏼

Brenna went missing from the Austin, Texas area Thursday and had not been heard from since.
Swindell posted an image of Brenna and expressed deep concern that her former boyfriend was in trouble with the law after an alleged assault against Brenna in July.
“Her phone is off and she has not been in contact with family, friends, and most importantly her children,” Swindell wrote.
“Her ex-boyfriend in the photo has a warrant and is violent so PLEASE if you have seen or heard from either one of them, let us know,” Swindell pleaded.
“We don’t know if she went with him willingly, was talked into running away with him, or what. I still feel she would never abandon her 3 children or just take off without explanation. So until we can prove otherwise, we feel she is in danger,” he wrote.
Swindell helped the Arizona Diamondbacks win the 2001 World Series.
