A hotly anticipated government report on foreign intelligence efforts to interfere in the U.S. election has been delayed amid new accusations of meddling in the 2020 campaign.
And it’s not in the way that left has claimed.
Nope.

The new reports actually indicate that the intelligence community has spotted attempts to meddle by multiple foreign nations including China, which has made no secret of its animosity toward President Donald Trump.
Insiders say the communist regime may have attempted to use the internet – including social media and “viral” videos – to help Joe Biden in the election.
Fox News sources say some in the intelligence community are “adamant” that Beijing was working on behalf of Biden, with “ample raw intelligence” to back up those claims.
While the network said some sources believe Chinese interference attempts were minimal, that does not appear to be the emerging consensus from within the intelligence community.
In other words, this is major.
CBSʼs Catherine Herridge said leaders including Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe believe at least three nations attempted to interfere with the election: China, Russia, and Iran.
Ratcliffe, she added, now believes the report initially due Dec. 18 will be completed sometime in January instead.
The accusations jibe with what experts said they had feared throughout the year.

Over the summer, for example, William Evanina – director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center – named those same three nations in his own warning.
China, he said, “has been expanding its influence efforts” ahead of the election and that Beijing prefers that “President Trump – whom Beijing sees as unpredictable – does not win reelection.”
Russia, he said, was working to “denigrate” and “undermine” Biden.
And Iran was working against Trump “and to divide the country in advance of the 2020 elections.”
In September, U.S. national security adviser Robert O’Brien in September calling the Chinese efforts “relentless.”
“We’ve never seen anything like it,” he told Reuters. “It was nothing like this in the Cold War with the Soviets.”
William Barr, who was attorney general at the time, also said China was a far bigger threat to the integrity of the election than Russia.

Now, it’s coming out that that threat was all too real, with many wondering just how far it went… and what impact it may have had on the outcome.
“We know that there was likely information interference with Chinese bots and other such things, but the question is if there was further interference that could have had any effect on the election,” former prosecutor Nick Arama wrote for Red State.
That interference, he said, would’ve had one goal in mind – and it’s not the one the mainstream media has obsessed over.
“Itʼs also pretty clear who China, Iran, and Russia would prefer to win,” he wrote. “Hint: It wasn’t Trump. If thereʼs more and DNI Ratcliffe has it, thatʼs a pretty big bombshell for folks to be sitting on.”
Former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell was blunter, suggesting on Fox News that it’s evidence that the Biden family has been “bought off in so many ways” by China’s ruling regime.
Grenell pointed to Biden’s decisions even before taking office — such as choosing Jake Sullivan to run the NSA.
Sullivan, Grenell said, “has really tried to compliment Beijing and to really surrender to the fact that China is going to be a superpower and that we should just deal with it.”

That, he said, is the exact wrong approach for dealing with the regime.
“We have to make sure that we understand that China has been playing us and it’s time to call out the fact that the international community has failed and the United States has failed them as a clear and present danger,” he said.
