Tonight is election night, and we know what to watch as the first election results come in.
As the late Howard Cosell would say, “It all comes down to this.”
All the months of mass rallies, the endless string of ads, the non-stop mailers, the door-knocking, everything related to the 2024 ends tonight—everything except the Fake News media’s lies about the election.
Unlike the coiffed talking heads at the major networks, The Horn hasn’t written have a script before the polls close telling you which candidate won the presidential race (although we have our preferences).
Like you, we’ll be watching the seven swing states: Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Arizona…but the other side will try to keep the election going long after this evening.
Nevada tell us they may keep counting ballots for three days—and Maricopa County, where 60% of Arizona voters live, says it will take them 10-31 days to finish its count.
Instead, we get to tell you how we think, and what we are watching, so you can predict how the presidential race may follow as the very first results come in.
Here are the other, less publicized races to watch tonight—and none of them look good for Vice President Kamala Harris.
First of all, even if Kamala Harris wins the presidency, she looks ready to lose the Senate. Republicans have a 91 percent chance of taking control of the Senate, according to liberal forecaster FiveThirtyEight…the real question is by how much.
Things look bad for Ohio’s Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown, who is telling his donors behind closed doors that Donald Trump’s popularity is about to cost him his seat.
The Real Clear Politics average of polls shows in Ohio Donald Trump leading Kamala Harris by 7.7 points.
To make matters worse, one of Brown’s top donors jumped on the Biden garbage truck.
“Garbage is an understatement for MAGA extremists,” said Vinod Khosla, a venture capitalist funding both Brown and Kamala Harris.

Then there’s Montana, where Jon Tester’s time may finally have run out.
Publicly, the Democratic Party says the race against Republican Tim Sheehy is “tightening”—but privately, they think Tester is toast.
Now, pollsters are saying the race in Pennsylvania between incumbent Democrat Bob Casesy and Republican Dave McCormick is neck-and-neck.
Candidates and outside groups have spent a total of $146 million on six key House districts in NY … so far.

Casey has backed away from his history as a man of the people—which he never earned but inherited from his father, former Governor Robert Casey—and his voting record is catching up with him.
Pennsylvania is the great prize in tonight’s election; whoever wins it will likely win the election. Watch this race to get an idea of how the Keystone State is trending.
The House will be close, so watch districts where a Republican is defending in a district won by Joe Biden in 2020. If the Republicans prevail, you Trump is doing well.
There are other signs that tonight’s election votes may not leave Kamala laughing.
In states where voters bring their own issues to the ballot, the issues tell a tale of complete repudiation of the Biden-Harris agenda.
Eight states will vote today to say illegal immigrants and other non-citizens cannot vote in U.S. elections.
It should go without saying that only Americans should vote in American elections, but that’s not the position taken by the Democrats. Congressman Chip Roy, R-Texas, introduced a bill called the SAVE Act which would demand that anyone who wants to vote first has to provide identification proving he is a legal American citizen. It’s supported by 8 out of 10 Americans…but the entire Democratic Party came out against it.
Citizens see that the Biden-Harris administration has imported a record-breaking number of illegal immigrants, and they want to protect their family, their jobs, and their elections from the “newcomer” invaders.
Americans don’t just oppose Kamala Harris’ plans to import new Democratic voters: There are also six ballot measures in three states to crack down on crime.
In Arizona, voters will decide on two measures that would give anyone invovled in child sex trafficking a life sentence and another to arrest illegal immigrants.
In California, voters would raise the minimum sentences for theft and drug crimes—the crimes that have spiraled out of control when soft-on-crime prosecutors like Kamala Harris and George Gascon have declined to prosecute offenders.
Colorado will have three initiatives: They will require that anyone accused of murder have to at least post bail before being released; force criminals to serve more of their sentences before being paroled; and set aside more state money and resources to hire and retain police.
So much for “Defund the Police,” even in blue states like Calfiornia and Colorado.
And if that’s what Democratic voters are thinking, so much for Kamala.
Whatever happens, keep a cool head, a calm faith in God’s providence, and one eye open on The Horn as we bring you the facts, straight and without an agenda, as always.
And may God bless America.
