It’s no secret that the mainstream media was hoping President Joe Biden would defeat former President Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election.

But just how far the media were willing to go — shown in an undercover video released Tuesday — shocked even the most cynical political expert.

CNN Technical Director Charlie Chester is shown on camera with an undercover conservative activist, where he said CNN was actively engaged in a direct propaganda campaign to help Biden in the election. The video was released by James O’Keefe’s conservative activist group Project Veritas.

Even liberal media outlets expressed disgust over the video’s content. Criticizing O’Keefe, left-wing outlet Mediaite had to admit the content was damning.

“As is the case with videos made from source material captured from hidden cameras, one should approach the final product with a healthy dose of caution. Post-production editing is a dark art that can materially change the meaning and context of many things that seem obvious at first blush,” Mediaite wrote. “But in this instance, there are enough examples of full and complete comments made by Chester that were clearly not crafted out of thin air, or misleading editing tricks.”

What he admitted was disturbing.

“Our focus was to get Trump out of office, right?” a CNN director is shown saying on-camera. “Without saying it… that’s what it was.”

“Trump was… his hand was shaking, he was losing it. He’s unfit,” he later says about CNN’s reporting on Trump’s health. “We were creating a story that we didn’t know anything about, ya know?”

“I think that’s propaganda,” he admits.

“Look what we did. We got Trump out,” Chester is later shown saying. “I am a hundred percent going to say it. And I one hundred percent believe it. If it wasn’t for CNN, I don’t know that Trump would have got voted out.”
