Experts warn that Saturday, April 15th could mark the beginning of a series of events that has a tragic, history making outcome — World War 3.
That’s not hyperbole, folks. This weekend may be the closest the world will come to global war since the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962.
200 foreign journalists currently covering North Korea’s “Day of the Sun” celebration were warned to expect a “big and important event” Saturday.

According to The New York Times, this “big event” is expected to be the country’s sixth nuclear test.
Experts fear the test could trigger an unstoppable series of events that finds the United States and China at war.

Tensions in the region have been building for weeks.
Saturday, in response to recently escalating tensions on the Korean peninsula, Trump ordered Carrier Strike Group One and it’s flagship aircraft carrier, the USS Carl Vinson, to move from Singapore to the Korean Sea.
CNBC called the situation a “Military nightmare scenario brewing in the East China Sea” — and critics worry that the April 15th test could be the final spark that ignites the region.
Saturday’s nuclear test would be in direct defiance to President Donald Trump’s warnings to both North Korea and their closest ally, China, that the dictatorship’s dangerous nuclear program would no longer be tolerated.

“Trump had warned North Korea Tuesday that he vowed to get Kim Jong Un’s regime under control, with or without China’s help,” according to Fox News.
Fearing further escalation, China repeatedly warned its ally not to provoke a military response by the United States.
But Thursday they also warned the United States not to respond with military force.
Even more disturbing, earlier this year Chinese officials admitted that a U.S.-China war was increasingly a “reality” they were prepared for.

Foreign policy experts have previously warned that any kind of conflict between China and the United States would rapidly escalate into World War III — and, like the complicated alliances that led to World War I in 1914, it would be incredibly “hard to shut off” the conflict once it started.
While the situation is incredibly dangerous, officials say war isn’t inevitable.
“U.S. officials have previously stressed that stronger sanctions are the most likely U.S. course to press North Korea to abandon its nuclear program,” Reuters reported Wednesday. “At the same time, Washington has said all options — including military ones — are on the table and that a U.S. strike last week against Syria should serve as a warning to Pyongyang.”
The situation has grown so tense, in fact, North Korea has already begun evacuating civilians from their capital.

According to The Express, late Wednesday Kim Jong Un ordered the “immediate evacuation of Pynongyang” and, as of Thursday, North Korean authorities had already moved 25 percent of the capital’s civilians out of the city.
It’s not just experts that are worried. Civilians around the world are increasingly concerned as well.
Google has reported that search engine queries for “World War 3” have reached an all-time high in recent days.
Hopefully, cooler heads prevail in North Korea.
Quickly.
