Now, Henry is dragging the network into court.

Henry filed a defamation lawsuit against Fox News and CEO Suzanne Scott on Wednesday.
Henry is accusing Scott of “sandbagging” him with a statement that was released at the time of his firing. Followers of the staff shakeup will remember that he was let go amid sexual misconduct claims.
That Fox News statement from a year ago read:
On Thursday, June 25, we received a complaint about Ed Henry from a former employee’s attorney involving willful sexual misconduct in the workplace years ago.”
“We immediately retained an outside law firm (which has never represented FOX News in investigations or litigation) to independently investigate the claims. Ed was suspended the same day and removed from his on-air responsibilities pending investigation.

Henry — in the lawsuit you can read here — says that Scott and Fox were simply trying to cover to save their image in the public eye by defaming him as “a sex criminal.”
“Ms. Scott had long been an instrument to cover up the existence of sexual misconduct at Fox News,” and she “has repeatedly covered up sexual misconduct by senior Fox News management.”
Indeed, Fox News has had multiple sexual misconduct scandals in recent years.
But the network is sticking by its guns.

Fox News told USA Today, “We are fully prepared to vigorously defend against these baseless allegations as Mr. Henry further embarrasses himself in a lawsuit rife with inaccuracies after driving his personal life into the ground with countless extramarital affairs in a desperate attempt for relevance and redemption.”
Henry, by his account, is promising that more to the story will soon be revealed.
