Former President Donald Trump is used to being targeted.
After surviving an assassination attempt in July, and multiple reports saying Iran could also be plotting to kill Trump, it appears that criminals here in the states are now resorting to ransacking his property.
Police in Virginia are investigating an apparent burglary at the Trump for President 2024 campaign office over the weekend.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said the burglary took place at Trump’s campaign office located in Ashburn, Virginia — just outside of Washington D.C.
The office, located in the 20000 block of Ashbrook Place, also serves as the headquarters of the Virginia 10th District Republican Committee.
The sheriff’s office says it has received video surveillance of the suspect, who is described as a white adult male, wearing dark clothing, a dark cap, and a backpack.

“It is rare to have the office of any political campaign or party broken into,” Sheriff Mike Chapman said. “We are determined to identify the suspect, investigate why it happened, and determine what may have been taken as well as what may have been left behind.
The sheriff’s office said no suspects have been arrested as of Monday evening.
“We have not identified or located the individual in the photos and would appreciate any help from the public,” a spokesperson said.
No comment has been made yet from the Trump campaign.
Trump himself has been through a lot over the past few weeks.
In July, Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire at a Trump rally outside of Pittsburgh, PA, grazing Trump’s right ear, injuring rallygoers and killing local man Corey Comperatore.
There have also been recent reports indicating that Iran could be behind plots to kill U.S. officials, including Trump.
Attorney General Merrick Garland recently told NBC News that, “We believe that the Iranians are attempting to kill or injure former high ranking government officials.”
And just last week, the Trump campaign claimed it was the target of a cyberattack from Iranian hackers who exposed personal information about Trump’s running mate JD Vance.
