President-elect Donald Trump has ditched his classic all-red “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN” hat for a new design while on the golf course — and it’ll have liberal critics screaming mad.
Trump displayed a modest new administration message Friday, wearing a “TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING” hat while on Trump International Golf Club, just weeks after being named Time magazine’s 2024 Person of the Year.
The new hat marks a departure from his signature red “Make America Great Again” cap the 45th (and soon to be 47th) president has made famous over the past 8 years.
The president-elect’s golf outing Friday followed a Thursday round with U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt of Missouri and Vice President-elect J.D. Vance.

“Fun day with Donald Trump and JD Vance. Played well. You gotta love it,” Schmitt also wrote on social media.
Trump also recently rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange, coinciding with Time’s award announcement.
The president-elect has maintained regular golf outings at his Florida club since winning the 2024 election, despite a assassination attempt in September.
Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, was indicted after allegedly attempting to assassinate Trump, positioning himself in bushes along the course’s fence line with a loaded SKS semiautomatic rifle and camera equipment. A Secret Service agent spotted Routh and fired five rounds, causing the suspect to flee before his later arrest.
Secret Service agents now employ new technology to sweep both the golf club and Trump’s nearby Mar-a-Lago resort for potential threats. Trump has continued engaging with club patrons and family members on the course, including rounds with his 18-year-old son Barron and granddaughter Kai Trump.
During his June 27 debate with President Joe Biden, Trump claimed his golf skill had earned him “two club championships.”
