President Donald Trump finally revealed that long-awaited release of all the classified documents related to John F. Kennedy’s assassination and Jeffrey Epstein is coming soon, telling an interviewer that the process is “moving along pretty rapidly.”
In a one-on-one interview with “Full Measure” host Sharyl Attkisson, Trump addressed the status of the high-profile declassification efforts that have generated significant public interest.
Attorney General Pam Bondi promised to release the files to the public, and invited conservative media influencers to a photo op of their release. It was later discovered that all the information released was already widely available.

When asked whether the rest of the files and lists would be revealed to the public directly, Trump said it’s finally in motion.
“It’s going to be released. It’s moving along, and it’s moving along pretty rapidly” and will be available “within weeks,” Trump promised.
The president disclosed that officials have discovered an additional “2,000 more documents on Kennedy” that weren’t previously made public. He noted that these Kennedy records were “the ones they really wanted to see the most.”
Trump acknowledged that during his first administration, he released many JFK documents but withheld others at the request of advisors.
“People that I respected, people that worked for the administration asked me not to release the rest,” Trump explained, though he added, “I probably wish I did release the whole thing.”
When asked about documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, the billionaire sex trafficker who died under mysterious circumstances in prison in 2019, Trump praised Bondi.
“Pam Bondi’s done a phenomenal job in every respect,” Trump said. “And there could have been some holdback. I haven’t heard too much about it, but they could. But the bottom line is the records are getting out.”
Bondi had previously demanded the New York FBI field office turn over all Epstein files after receiving what she considered incomplete information. According to reports, the FBI delivered what Bondi described as a “truckload of information” on March 3 that she said constitutes the complete Epstein files.
Bondi says they’re working through the materials to redact information about victims before public release.
The declassification efforts are occurring simultaneously with congressional action. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-F.L., is heading a new “Task Force on Declassification of Federal Secrets” that is investigating multiple topics, including the Jeffrey Epstein client list, JFK, RFK, and MLK assassinations, and UFOs.
Luna has reportedly suggested the JFK documents may indicate the presence of a second shooter, contradicting the official Warren Commission conclusion that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone.
Trump’s comments signal a renewed push for transparency to answer decades of speculation and conspiracy theories. The administration has positioned these declassification efforts as fulfilling promises to provide Americans with information that previous administrations hid.
During the interview, Trump also discussed border security, tariffs, and economic policy, claiming his administration has already made significant progress during his first two months back in office.
